Anna Meredith will release her debut album Varmints on March 4th, 2016 via Moshi Moshi Records. The follow-up to her two EPs, 2012’s Black Prince Fury, and 2013’s Jet Black Raider, Varmints is the latest addition to an already dizzyingly accomplished musical resume that includes being Composer in Residence for the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, and her own Last Night of the Proms composition ‘Froms’ being simultaneously performed by five symphony orchestras across the UK while broadcast to an audience of 40 million people. And that just scratches the surface. As a preview of her upcoming debut album, Meredith has released a music video for lead single “R-Type”.
