Liz Kennedy, a Bay Area singer-songwriter with a true “force of nature” voice, is in the enviable position of having the sage wisdom and life experience to delve into the deepest darkest chasms of her soul and share with us her innermost thoughts and secrets. At the age of 62, her voice has never been stronger, and in her new video “How Was Your Life?” from her latest CD Speed Bump, she tackles the conundrum of wondering what the life path of a significant other from 30 years ago was like. The new video is a compelling journey back to a time in America when the family was a cohesive unit, the cars were actually made with metal and chrome, and everybody smoked. Liz shares with us the 16mm footage that not only her mother shot when Liz was a child, but the footage her grandmother shot a generation earlier.
