MADONNA & GAGA TO TOUR? PROBABLY NOT

There is almost no chance of it actually happening, but wouldn’t it be amazing if it did?  According to British paper News of the World, Madonna is “absolutely obsessed” with Lady Gaga – so much so that she’ll do anything to get the pop star to come out on her next world tour.  A source said that “basically Gaga can name her price.”  But according to PerezHilton.com, Madonna’s publicist has unfortunately denied the paper’s claim.

KATY PERRY, TV STAR?

Katy Perry, TV Star? According to DigitalSpy.com, the “California Gurls” singer is a “target” for British TV station ITV2.  A representative from the channel said that Katy is “brilliant, a bulls-eye person,” and that they are talking to her management about “various shows.”

GAGA DOESN’T WANT TO BE RICH

Some artists make music because it will make them rich, but Lady Gaga definitely isn’t one of them.  According to ContactMusic.com, the pop star was recently quoted as saying that she has “spent every dollar” that she’s made from music and that if it’s not being used to help her on-stage performance she doesn’t want it.  Read more at ContactMusic.com.

ROSH HASHANAH GAGA

The Jewish holiday of Rosh Hashanah is right around the corner, and what better way to get ready than by doing a little dance number to Lady Gaga’s hit song “Telephone.”  Check out the video of some synagogue members getting down on YouTube now.

BONAS JONAS BACK IN CAMP ROCK 2!

Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam premieres this Friday on the Disney channel.  Fans who tune in will get some “Bonus Jonas,” as the fourth Jonas brother, nine-year-old Frankie, has a part in the sequel to the hit 2008 flick Camp Rock.  His co-star, Demi Lovato, says that the kid has some serious swagger.  She stated, “He’s got swag like Justin Bieber and he rocks out like Mick Jagger, so he’s kind of a combination of the two. He’s kind of like the ultimate rock star. Watch out, Justin Timberlake!” Frankie Jonas voiced a lead character in the Disney film Ponyo, which was released two years ago.  He would love to pursue more acting and – of course – a music career.  You can see more of Frankie Jonas in Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam this Friday on the Disney channel.

Says Kid Rock, “The catalyst for this record was Detroit, and my thoughts on the world through the lens of Detroit.  Watching everything go downhill over the past few years, the economy, the loss of jobs everywhere, I wanted to make a record that reflected the times but that still had soul.”
