“Epa Wei represents an internal conflict between what you want and what you should do. It’s a cool way to express the ‘romantic game’ that we’ve all been through. Having had the opportunity to meet and work with Skrillex was, without a doubt, an amazing experience. Not only because of everything that I learned, but for being able to experience and share both worlds. – Danny Ocean
Marlon Craft Releases New Track and Video for “NY BABY” ft. Bodega Bamz
“‘NY BABY’ is an expression of attitude and authentic pride in where we’re from and how we came up, the good and the bad. Obviously, I want my native New Yorkers to feel empowered by the song, but really it’s for everyone that’s proud of where they’re from, for anyone seeking to hold on to the energy they grew up on that’s being zapped away by gentrification or shifts in culture,” says Marlon Craft on the video. “As soon as I made the joint, I immediately knew I wanted Bamz on it. We’re two authentic New Yorkers from different walks of life who are tied together by the shared experience and culture of what it means to grow up in this city, and ultimately that’s what ‘NY BABY’ and NYC are all about.”

Summer Heart releases succulent ‘Subside’ ft. K¥LO following previous track via Kitsuné, prior to US-Tour
It’s not often that a band’s name truly reflects their sound, but when it comes to Swedish solo pop act Summer Heart (David Alexander), you can expect just that; sun-soaked tunes that create a soundtrack for those sepia-toned summer days when car windows are down with rich music cascading loud and free.
For the first time in the existing Summer Heart discography, David takes a step back and invites an alternate vocalist to take the reins. On this seventh installment of the #12SongsOfSummer project, Torontonian K¥LO’s reverb-fuelled tones, are driven by the Summer Heart-propelled production into twilit, barmy nights. One struggles to avoid clichés when describing the mix; shooting-star synth parts cut through space created by the equally sharp, yet ethereal, tones of the Canadian vocalist, however, the finished product finds its own pedestal between groove-tinged alt pop, with a humid production style akin to Washed Out’s.
