Mamas Gun have today share the new video for recent single ‘London Girls’ – the video, which features a female parkour artist crossing iconic London spots such as Southbank, The Square Mile and Trafalgar Square, arrives following details of the quintet’s new album, Golden Days which is set for release via Candelion on May 18, 2018. The new album adds to a bustling back catalogue which has previously earned the band support from The Guardian, the Sunday Times, Uncut and Billboard. H.C. McEntire’s LIONHEART release with her new “Quartz in the Valley” music video
Give it up for H.C. McEntire, whose debut album LIONHEART is out in the world as of Friday! For the first music video from the album, McEntire sought out fellow North Carolinian Alexis Bravos, who provided imagery for the title track on How to Dance, the latest album from McEntire’s band Mount Moriah. Like that song’s video, “Quartz in the Valley” was partially shot on a hand-cranked 16mm film camera, and it is equally gorgeous and moving.
Razorbats releases new singel, ‘Sister Siberia’ Feb 2, 2018!
Razorbats are one of the leading bands in The New Wave of Scandirock and received fantastic reviews and radio airplay all over the world when they released their debut album ‘Camp Rock’ in 2015. ‘Sister Siberia’ is written by guitarist Kjetil F. Frank Turner Announces Spring Album and New Song “1933”
Months after the release of Songbook, a career-spanning retrospective which also saw reworked versions of tracks from across the past decade, Be More Kind represents a thematic and sonic line in the sand for the 36-year-old. It’s a record that combines universal anthems with raw emotion and the political and the personal, with the intricate folk and punk roar trademarks of Turner’s sound imbued with new, bold experimental shades. Be More Kind is produced by Austin Jenkins and Joshua Block, formerly of psychedelic-rock Texans White Denim, and Florence And The Machine and Halsey collaborator Charlie Hugall. “I wanted to try and get out of my comfort zone and do something different,” says Turner.

Michigan Post-Rock Band Man Mountain Signs to Spartan Records
Detroit, Michigan post-rock 4-piece Man Mountain has signed with Spartan Records and has announced plans to release their debut full-length, “Infinity Mirror,” on March 16th.
The album was mastered by Mike Kalajian (Circa Survive, Prawn, Moving Mountains).
Electroman’s new single “Mood Swings”
“The Electroman project is my solo project that started taking off while I have been attending college, but it can be traced all the way back to 2011, when I was making music on my iPad using a variety of different music-making apps. Since then, I became addicted to taking the 15 years of classical piano-playing experience I have and applying it to my own music composition. My first “big break” was when I won a remixing contest for Rebecca Black’s recent song “The Great Divide.” Since then, I knew that I had something special brewing. The music I make is simple, but it’s part of the style. There is so much attention to detail and care put into each track, especially in “Mood Swings” and “Don’t You Worry.” I purposefully chose to move away from traditional dance music and steer more towards chillwave and synthpop, and it seems that it was the right move to make.”

alt-J announces a unique concert at Forest Hills Stadium on June 15. It will mark the largest venue the band has ever headlined in North America, and is the only immersive sound show in the continent. In another first for the band, the show will feature a surround speaker system enveloping the entire audience. The speakers will be used throughout the show to position sound effects mixed into a variety of the band’s material, thus creating an immersive sound experience. Rhiannon Giddens, MacArthur Fellow, Confirms New Tour Dates In Celebration Of Freedom Highway
Recently, The MacArthur Foundation announced Rhiannon Giddens as a recipient of their prestigious “MacArthur Fellowship.” The MacArthur Fellowship, also known as the “MacArthur Genius Grant,” is a five-year grant “to individuals who show exceptional creativity in their work and the prospect for still more in the future” and includes a no-strings-attached $625,000 grant distributed over five years. Giddens said this of being awarded the Fellowship: “I am just thrilled to announce that I have been named a MacArthur Foundation fellow! THE DAMNED SHARE VIDEO FOR NEW SINGLE TAKEN FROM ‘EVIL SPIRITS’
Legendary British band, The Damned have released a video for a new single, ‘Standing On The Edge Of Tomorrow’ taken from their new album, Evil Spirits’, scheduled for release on Search And Destroy / Spinefarm Records on April 13th. Their first new album in a decade.
The single is “an optimistic song even though it is about a dark subject, in a world obsessed by ‘self’,” explains legendary frontman Dave Vanian, who also directed the video. “This is a cry for humanity to recognize its humanity, before it’s too late. There is a strong influence of Joe Meek here: ‘Telstar’ was a glorious song about the opportunities of the future. I’d like to think that ‘SOTEOT’ reflects a similar sentiment.”
The Values share new dark-pop single “Separation Anxiety”
The song premiered via All Things Go where the band shared, “The lyrics speak to something that I think a lot of people in their late twenties deal with. It’s about reaching an age where you’ve started to figure out what your issues are when it comes to sex and relationships, and you’ve met someone you’re interested in and you have to tell them, ‘look, I’ve been through this a few times now. I know my hangups and I’m not interested in any more bullshit.’ It’s about learning to communicate directly and owning your flaws.”
