RED CALLING New Single “Torture”
The female-fronted band Red Calling is a modern/metal hard rock quartet with a slight trigger pull on the side of an electronic metal-based in Tampa, FL, Red Calling has a collaborative sound and stadium-level volume that electrifies its audiences. Lending their unique uptake on metal on their latest release, “Torture”, the listener is tantalized by the strings, and then in full cock loaded gears it grinds the explosion of vocalist Jessica Pons. “Torture” leads the listener closer to throwing the metal horns over and over again. Clearly, Red Calling is here to drop their solid metal sound right where it belongs… in a stadium of metalheads. The band features Jessica Pons on vocals, guitar, and keys; Javier Pons on lead guitar and synth; Deven Starr on drums; and Luis Pons on bass and synth.

Written and inspired during a crazy 2020, “Lost” details the thoughts of young man going from a handful of hope, to seemingly hopeless in an instant. Manny skilfully articulates the reality of going from a sure thing to shaky ground (emotionally,financially and so on…).
My new single, “Crossing Over,” carries the feeling of a road trip gone awry and the ambivalence of the long distance relationship, full of both joyful anticipation and frustration, that inspired it.

Legendary musician Graham Nash’s 2002 song “Dirty Little Secret” about the 1921 Tulsa massacre has been turned into an animated short film by New York-based filmmaker, animator, and painter Jeff Scher and will premiere at the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival this June. In addition, the film will be screened as part of Remember & Rise, an event commemorating the 100th Year Anniversary of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre on Monday, May 31 at ONEOK Field (201 N. Elgin Ave., Tulsa, OK).

The band also recently unveiled The Ritual Collection, a new line of merch that can be found exclusively in The Bodies Experience. This includes a special deck of oracle cards (with one card for each song), soy prayer candles and incense — all fitting counterparts to the dark and brooding new track. The artwork for the “Tied To A Tree” visualizer is based on the art found on the oracle card deck.
Evan Wright (Solitaire Recordings, ffo Kurt Vile, Cory Hanson) | Shares single and announces album
This new body of work comes entirely mixed, produced and recorded by Evan, partially in his NY apartment before he had to decamp to his parents’ place in NJ due to Covid (which is where he ultimately completed it). It’s a lovely fusion of country-folk-tinged psychedelia, it definitely holds some comparison with the likes of Andy Shauf and Cut Worms, but also with the slightly more psych-indie shades of Beach Fossils, Jacco Gardner and Cory Hanson. It’s a pretty fun sound, and I think this first single is a really great intro to what Evan is trying to do with this record. His voice has this great way of gleaning over pools of washy guitar and electronic drum beats to present a somewhat hypnotic feel. Lyrically it presents this rearview reflection of friendships and why people disappear and how close friends suddenly become strangers all of a sudden – it’s a nostalgic, pensive look at the ineluctable changes in relationships.

“In the beginning of 2020 I was preparing a live show for Coachella. I’d been looking for old Boingo songs that connected to the dystopian nightmare I found myself immersed in at that moment in time living in America,” Elfman explains. “As I played around with different songs it occurred to me that ‘Insects’ made sense. Who were the ‘Insects,’ the blood suckers of today? It was obvious to me – they all hived together in Washington and seemed to thrive on sucking the rational sense of reality out of our brains.”

I’m Daneliya Tuleshova from Kazakhstan, and I’m excited to share my debut single “Like You Used To.” I know most girls will be able to relate to the emotions in this song, the confusion and hurt when a seemingly romantic relationship takes a turn for the worst.
This is my first major release signed to a label and it’s been four years in the making to get to this point! I started my musical journey at 8 years old, participating in vocal competitions including The Voice Kids Ukraine where all four chairs turned during the blind auditions and I became the youngest person to ever win. In 2020, at age 13, I became a Top 6 Finalist on America’s Got Talent. The other contestants were much older, so for me to be able to keep up vocally with artists who were far more seasoned really boosted my confidence.
