‘Demos Vol.1’ is a reflection of his journey so far – lead track ‘Yes or No’ was originally released in 2019 and picked up across tastemaker blogs such as Hilly Dilly. This buzz paved the way for the young Scottish-Nigerian’s record deal with Black Butter, and the beginning of what has been an impressive year for the 18 year old. Previously unheard tracks ‘Seventeen’ (produced by Courage and Tayo Sound) and ‘Holdin’ On’ (produced by Roy Lenzo and Capi) appear in their earliest incarnation, showcasing Tayo Sound’s natural song writing skill.

Fally Ipupa unveils new album Tokooos II
Building a reputation around his ability to transcend genres and rise above African borders, Tokooos II sees Fally Ipupa combine R&B and trap beats with more traditional Congolese sounds like soukous and ndombolo. The sprawling, 16-track release is also characterised by a long list of star-studded collaborations, including on Fally’s feel-good recent single ‘Likolo’, which features French rapper Ninho. Elsewhere there are appearances from Strasbourg singer-songwriter M. Blxst releases music video for ‘Got It All’ feat Dom Kennedy
Today, hip-hop artist-to-watch Blxst releases the music video for his single “Got It All,” featuring fellow LA rapper Dom Kennedy.
The hit record is off Blxst’s recent deluxe release of No Love Lost via Red Bull Records, which features six new tracks and additional collaborations from Ty Dolla $ign, Tyga, and Bino Rideaux.
Complimenting the theme and lyrics of the song, the creative visual taps into the world of fine art, featuring Dom and Blxst as they explore an art gallery and flex their own artistic skills. This perennial favourite has charted no less than 16 times since it was originally released in 1973, when it was written, performed and produced by national music legend Roy Wood.

The CD features award-winning composers Kevin Puts, Andrea Clearfield and Gunther Schuller, along with a host of world-class performers. Three Tributes was commissioned by fellow musicians (and brothers) Robert and James Freeman as a way of honoring their family’s musical legacy, which spans three generations. Their parents, Henry and Florence Knope Freeman, were both children of musicians and graduated the Eastman School of Music in Rochester in 1930.
Both Robert and James Freeman studied piano and theory at Cambridge’s Longy School while graduating from Milton Academy, and studied performance during the summers at Tanglewood, Blue Hill and Marlboro. They went on to Harvard, where each graduated with honors, followed by travelling fellowships for study in Europe.

Morgan Wade Debuts New Song “Don’t Cry,” Produced by Sadler Vaden, Along with Music Video
Morgan Wade grew up keeping her writing and her singing to herself, convinced her voice, which differed from those coming from country radio, wasn’t good enough to share.
“Honestly, I think that was really good for me,” Wade shares. “It made me think, ‘Alright, well, I’m not going to sing for anybody else – I’m singing for myself.’ I think it just takes a while. After spending all those years feeling like I wasn’t good enough, it takes time to rewire your brain––it’s been an incredibly therapeutic. By sharing my journey and stories from my more reckless days, I hope it’s a way for others to get to know me, too.”
One of the few things known about the elusive band was that, along with neighbor and collaborator Bob Dylan, they called the rural artist community of Woodstock, NY home base, years before the sleepy town became a cultural flashpoint and shorthand for the emerging counterculture in the wake of the massive Woodstock Music & Arts Festival, held 40 miles southwest in Bethel, NY. The one band to actually hail from Woodstock, The Band famously played their second-ever show on the final day of the festival in front of nearly half a million people.
