Harnessing a psychedelic energy, ‘It’s You’ is a smooth, soul-inflected track propelled by wistful melodies, immersive bass and passionate vocals. The track is “about navigating multiple romantic relationships while simultaneously trying to pursue a career in music,” CRUZA explain. It follows on from ‘Malibu’, ‘Groove Therapy’ and ‘Indeed’, with all four singles set to appear on the seven-track Dog Daze, out 10th December.

Seemingly lost in a void of office mundanity, singer Seb Gilmore’s disorientated musings [“I find it hard to concentrate / Where did I leave my? / What do you mean? / Sorry I didn’t catch that!”] are backed by screeching guitar riffs and agitated synth lines, propelled forward by drummer Thom Mills’ cavernous percussion.
