A ROAD TO DAMASCUS are back with the brand new single ‘I’m Not Okay’
A ROAD TO DAMASCUS are back with a brand new single! After the successful release of their two singles ‘Echo’ and ‘Fearless’ in 2020, the quartet have once again teamed up with award-winning producer Andreas Krüger, for the creation of a brand new melodic and catchy pop-rock single. Today they present ‘I’m Not Okay’ – watch the accompanying music video above.
Perpetual Etude was formed in 2019 by Magnus Mild with the sole goal to bring back the best of heavy metal from the ’80s. Influenced by the genre when growing up, Magnus teamed up with members from NorthTale, ex-members from Dionysys, Nation, Shadowquest, as well as Göran Edman on “Sail Away” to complete the vision. The result is the best of a whole decade in the astounding debut ‘Now Is The Time’, an album filled with blazing guitar riffs, keyboard solos, and catchy choruses.
REMI WOLF RELEASES DEBUT ALBUM ‘JUNO’
Following a string of well received singles, emerging pop star Remi Wolf has released her long awaited debut album Juno via Island Records. The 13-track offering is Wolf’s first full length album, which vibrantly welcomes listeners into the kaleidoscopic, chaotically eclectic world that Wolf has created over the past year. Written and recorded throughout the pandemic, the album explores the triumphant highs and candid lows of the rising songwriter’s career thus far – showcasing Wolf’s clever and endearing lyricism and glittering instrumentation drawn from her wide-ranging array of influences. Prior to the album’s release, Wolf sold out a brief run of shows in LA, NYC, and Chicago and recently announced her 20-date world tour in late 2021/early 2022.
The next piece of their upcoming LP (TBA), “Goodbye, Goodnight” is an emotionally-charged rock and roll track that stems from personal experiences with losing loved ones. The Robot’s Guide To Living always approach their creativity with a multi-generational angle, utilizing influences that span across many eras of rock music. “Goodbye, Goodnight” gives a small taste of that variety, but packs a raw, powerful, and punky punch.
In an economy of song where singers never really take the fall or the blame, Fox looks inwards to the parts that feel villainous, yet vulnerable. “Someone New” finds the artist falling out of love and expecting their partner to change, soon realizing they were just projecting out of insecurity.
Global sensation Noa Kirel delivers a dose of pop perfection with her new empowerment anthem, “Bad Little Thing” available now at all DSPs and streaming services via Atlantic Records. Written by Casey Smith (Olivia Rodrigo, Jonas Brothers), JHart (Jenifer Lopez, Camila Cabello), Nate Merchant (Jason Derulo), Sam Martin (Maroon 5, Ava Max), and Samuel Ahana (Kiana Lede) and produced by Merchant, Swish (Post Malone) and Sam Martin, Kirel’s latest single is joined by an equally electrifying visual sponsored by vibez neon and their new lighting collaboration, Noa Kirel x Vibez. After making its broadcast premiere on MTVLive and MTVU earlier today, the blockbuster music video, directed by Roy Raz and complete with instantly iconic choreography, is now streaming at YouTube HERE.
Dream Pop Duo Twin Rains Release “The Garden”
Gardens are rich in symbolism: they can represent fertility and abundance, but also entropy and decay. This song is a story about the bittersweet nature of love and beauty, and how I can’t seem to experience either without an awareness of their inevitable breakdown. But the mood isn’t sad; instead, it celebrates this mystery. – singer Christine Stoesser
Fire By Night Release New Single “Obsessions”
Obsessions was written about anxiety and depression, and how the typical conversation goes with a friend or family member that does not understand it for themselves. As it says at the end of the first verse: “My darling, if I must remind you that future may only fix the mess” draw from the narrative when someone tells you that “it’s gets better”. The lyrics of the chorus, “just watch it burn down my life” dwell on the emotions that arise from the realization that mental illness is a lifelong battle, and I didn’t know how to handle it.
From Vancouver artist, multi-instrumentalist, composer, etc., Mark Jowett (Moev, Cinderpop,) comes the musical manifestation of his alter ego – Plain Mister Smith. This otherworldly figure is a sonic explorer of sorts, in photos, we see a mystical figure trotting down the street or paddling in a kayak. He’s a global troubadour recruiting musicians on his mystery tour. Today he embarks on another crash-landing onto this earth, bringing with him the highly anticipated self-titled EP ‘Plain Mister Smith.’
WILDERUN Release New Single And Music Video For “Passenger”
“‘Passenger’ is simultaneously the most immediate and the densest song on the record. I think it hooks you in pretty quickly, but takes a good amount of replays to catch all the details. This is also one of those tracks we were excited to play live as soon as we tracked it in the studio, given the heaviness of both the band and orchestra, so I can easily imagine this becoming a staple of our setlist, but only time will tell,” states WILDERUN about the new single.
Writing the song came quickly for Wimbish. The melody came to him not in a writing session, but while he was out on a run trying to clear his head. “The melody and chords came first. I’ve done some complex chord progressions for the last few years and wanted to change it up – I was going for something super simple.” The chorus tumbled in as he settled back into the writer’s room later that afternoon and the song was finished in a matter of hours. “It was fun one to write because at its core, it’s got that simplicity I was going for – but I think it gets interesting and sticky because of the melodies around that simplicity]”
Good music isn’t just one thing. San Diego-based songwriter James Frolio isn’t tethered by genre. Punk rock attitudes and hip hop back beats are contrasted with leafy acoustic melodies accompanying a journey of personal growth. Somehow all these find some pop sensibility in James’s writing style. Fascinated by the creative process and the impact from inspiration, James has a knack for music that moves you.

OUT NOW: Honeyflux release new single ‘God, Buddha & Me’
‘God, Buddha & Me’ is a track that not only looks at the way we’re all as living creatures, but also discusses the morals of our social construct using religion as a template for sexist ideologies that are ingrained into our culture. The track questions why we see our religious icons as just men and how the influence of women is in fact one of the biggest aspects of our lives.
STROMAE RETURNS WITH ‘SANTÈ.’
Out on Darkroom/Interscope Records today, ‘Santé’ is an ode to those who work when others are partying. A call for respect to the seemingly invisible who work around the clock. For the new parents lulled to sleep by cries. For the insomniacs by trade…” His tribute twirls from sincere emotion to caustic irony. A master of his craft, Stromae skillfully instills scenes that are both funny and thought provoking. His play on words and vocal range amplify the accuracy of the situations described, and the call for inclusivity — joy and respect for everyone.
