I had spent some time trying to distinguish reality from illusion, and I wanted this song to capture the dreamlike quality I was lost in.

Seattle emo band Early Internet announce LP; share song

Today, Early Internet – the moniker of Seattle-based musician Dean Stafford – is thrilled to share “Clinging To a Dream You Don’t Want to Leave,” the fourth single to be released from his forthcoming debut album entitled You’re Just In Time To Miss Everything, which is set to be self-released on October 29th. The song, featuring additional vocals by Caroline Loveglow (recent signee to 100% Electronica) and mastered by John Greenham (Billie Eillish), is a driving, forward leap into a dreamy landscape, buttressed by the sweet-as-candy melody and timbre of two delicate voices swirling around one another.

Today, industrial-pop upstarts Crash Cathedral shared their new two part single “Static / Lonely Heaven”. The song is accompanied by a cinematic visualizer created by notable glitch artist Displaced / Replaced. Exploring a synthesis of industrial, mainstream-pop and 90s’ era darkwave, the band’s latest single is a glimpse into their singular approach to songwriting. The song was self-produced and recorded by the band with additional production and mixing from Robbie Townsend (Velveteen Studios).
