Theo Kandel Releases New Single & Video “i don’t wanna think about that”

Today sees the release of NOA: a music film, from musician Taylor Rogers and cinematographer Lillian Walker. The 45-minute film brings to life the songs from Taylor’s 2019 NOA album. The thirteen separate vignettes, within, work together to collectively examine experiences of loss, grief, and rebuilding. Each song is performatively reinterpreted by a variety of different Chicago-based artists, with backgrounds as diverse as dance, mime, and circus arts. Lillian Walker’s camera carefully captures these scenes playing out in locations across the greater Chicago area. These sites range from the quotidian to the striking; including an abandoned Victorian church, the shores of Lake Michigan, and the residential environs of the city’s North Side.

Nnena Releases New Single and Visualizer for “Rewind”

An incredible writer, lyricist, rapper and vocalist, bursting with effusive energy and a massive personality, the Cleveland native, born Nnena Adigwe to Nigerian parents, credits some of her robust, descriptive storytelling impulses to her past screenwriting experience. A former basketball player, Nnena began writing comedic sketches during college. That soon led to working on more full-fledged projects—the kinds of works that needed sound tracking. Rather than pay licensing fees, she tried her hand at making her own music.


Back in the early 2000’s, Leonard Cerzosie Jr. started a band with his brother called The Infinite Staircase that did very well as an independent band. the band worked with artists like Earl Slick from David Bowie’s band, Candlebox, Sevendust, and even Zakk Wylde.
