#ATLTop20 #Certified !!! 1501 Certified / eOne Presents: Stunna Bam – “Rock Out” feat. Erica Banks
Filmed in the days leading up to their August 15, 2021, drive-in concerts, Things Come Around shows the struggles, doubts, and financial realities of four bandmates and business owners as they confront a new world. It hides no awkwardness, no drama, no emotion, and no bullshit. At the same time and with equal honesty, it finds and focuses on the moments of laughter and joy, large and small, that always present themselves. It captures a portrait of the community and the connection of a long-locked-down fanbase—desperate to feel a sense of brotherhood—at the moment it’s finally allowed to re-emerge and re-engage. It celebrates people being people.

“I wanted to write an empowerment song that was fun and full of attitude – one of those tracks that psych you up when you’re getting ready in the morning or going to the gym,” Nick explains. “Growing up on the east coast south of DC, I wanted to channel that hip-hop aggression in this song. I had recently gotten back home from visiting Nashville for Tin Pan South 2018 and did a Skype co-write with Jessica Fodor, who I met at the seminar. We had such a blast writing it and we wrote two more songs together that will be on the new album. I’ve been wanting to record it and release it for a long time and I’m so excited to share this with everyone!”

Heavy Psych Sounds’ vaunted ‘Doom Sessions’ series has presented fresh new songs from some of the heaviest bands around the doom and rock scene, from Conan to Acid Mammoth to 16 and Grime. This fifth installment merges the forces of Delaware’s prolific heavy mongers HIGH REEPER, which are set to deliver their exuberant stoner metal and an abundance of replay-ready licks, as described per Invisible Oranges. Alongside them will be Portland’s rock shapeshifters HIPPIE DEATH CULT, whose steady fusion of stoner, classic and progressive rock has chances to win over a wide audience of riff aficionados. The ‘Doom Sessions Vol.5’ split EP offers over half an hour of deliciously subversive and addictively heavy anthems, wrapped in a stunning artwork from Italian artist and long-time HPS Records collaborator Luca SoloMacello.

Australian producer Benson drops his new single ‘Misbehave’ featuring Joe Publick
“Misbehave” starts off strong, pulling you straight into the buildup of the background beat. The vocals fit quite well with the horns, drum hits, and other instrumentals of the track, featuring Benson’s signature production skills and sounds. The message of the track, including lyrics that read, “Walk round like you’re 10 feet tall now time to misbehave. Club bound speeding with my top down feet up off the brake,” is all about being confident and having your presence be known, perhaps by getting into some mischief. This is definitely a track you’ll want to hear out in the club, which will hopefully be soon!

Rebreather Covers REM, Porno for Pyros on New EP ‘”Pets” / “Orange Crush”‘
Youngstown, Ohio noise rock / sludge metal band Rebreather creates punishing, tenacious, and metallic music that seethes and breathes. The group once called its sound “cave pop” and while its clamorous caterwaul calls for comparison to scene luminaries like Unsane, Melvins, and Flipper, don’t assume don’t for one moment that theirs is a sound you’ve heard over and over. On April 2, Rebreather will release the new EP, ‘”Pets” / “Orange Crush”‘, as part of Aqualamb Records’ COVID Cover Series; the two track tumult featuring the trio’s sludged-up and spaced-out takes on Porno for Pyros’ hit “Pets” and the REM classic “Orange Crush”.

Arham is a 25-year-old musician based in Oslo, Norway. The Norwegian-Pakistani musician grew up on Metallica’s ‘Master of Puppets,’ as well as Pakistani music, making for interesting formative roots.
Arham says the following about the track:
“I like ethereal psychedelic vibes, and that’s what came out in this song. I wrote, played, produced, and mixed this all by myself. I’ve been producing for a while before making this song, mostly for other people. At one point I just let myself flow freely and this is what happened. I just wish people would try things differently sometimes. So yeah. just try the other way.”
