HAMMERHEDD Release New Single “Foundation” – Music Video Premiering Exclusively via Metal Injection
Speaking about their new single, the band states: “Our new single ‘Foundation’ is hard-hitting, fast, and jam-packed with riffs. It’s the most in-your-face, straightforward, bludgeoning track in our catalog, and the music video portrays that perfectly. The song is a perfect agent for our new album, ‘Grand Currents’, which is out now and available to pre-order on vinyl! “

Memphis Genre-Bending Rapper Fresco Trey Drops “Luv Don’t Live Here” Video
“But I still need love sometimes, you don’t give no fuck don’t lie, you don’t give no fuck don’t lie, but I still need love sometimes,” Fresco croons on the heartbreak anthem, relatable to millions. The song is for those who got their heart broken and actually decided to leave the situation and move on – something that’s way easier said than done.
“Bridges” is about crossing from a place of belonging to one of discomfort. Expecting the resistance, there’s a process to prepare one’s mental armour. I was first inspired by the cultural differences between my hometown in Saskatchewan and Toronto, where I live now. When I travel back now, I modify my behaviour a bit to cover up my big city bias, and slide into rural style for a few days. I face no existential discomfort in a rural community, but it was enough to make me empathize with the more dramatic story of the song.
“For me, ‘Two’ paints a picture of the trials and tribulations of being an artist,” shares Zuli Jr. “How one’s desire to create in a meaningful way can negatively affect the people around them, whether they’re aware of it or not. Tying into the themes of Stop it God., this inherent need to express yourself is more or less a selfish pursuit and can very easily distort your self-perception. The song comes to terms with this notion in ‘two’ sections. The first acknowledges this state of mind and tries to make amends, whereas the second is harsher both in content and tone. Coming from a more jaded perspective, showcasing the dark side of your ego that makes you feel as though you aren’t enough, even though you are. ‘Two’ ultimately plays as a public diary entry coping with my psyche / apologizing to my loved ones for being distant.”

Remember Sports inspire with new song ‘Out Loud’
‘Like a Stone’, the new album from Philadelphia’s Remember Sports, is all about breaking away from old versions of yourself. Vocalist Carmen Perry (she/her) rummages through feelings of doubt and spins them into an imperative to treat herself more kindly; her experiences growing up with Catholicism and later studying religion, as well as living with an eating disorder, provide a visceral lens for the literal blood-and-guts self-scrutiny she writes through.

Acclaimed singer-songwriter Parker Millsap shares his new song “In Between” today via a premiere on Garden & Gun, who said “Millsap’s earnest, no-frills vocals tumble out over understated strumming, with the occasional sparse harmony accentuating lyrics about being finished with one phase of life but not quite ready for the next.” “In Between” is the fourth song released from Millsap’s eagerly awaited new album, BE HERE INSTEAD, arriving via Okrahoma Records/Thirty Tigers this Friday, April 9.

“April” is the second single from my upcoming LP, Bells of Hope, about the melancholic transformation of winter to spring. It is a time of great longing, of great relief, and of great optimism, yet for me, there’s always a paradoxical tendency to look back on what is usually a difficult time and wish that you could’ve made more of it. I was coming off of an incredibly productive and positive time: I had played over 200 shows in support of my new album, and the psychedelic rush of 2019 was coming to a dramatic close.

The song is called ‘Staring at the black road’.
The single heralds the new album of the power trio, which was assembled by renowned producer Alessandro Del Vecchio, and will be out next June 11th through Wild Mondays Music / Horus Music UK.
Growing up on opposite coasts, the duo found each other in the Fall of their freshman year of college, holed up in their Connecticut dorm rooms where they shared a love for music ranging from contemporary classical to Americana. Inspired by the ever-changing indie landscape of the early 2010s, the duo’s early demos and recordings blended thick layers of synths and electronics until they peeled back the layers to a folkier, homegrown sound.
