Industrial Metal band DEAD ANIMAL ASSEMBLY PLANT released their highly anticipated new album titled Bring Out The Dead, via Armalyte Industries today.
The not-yet-released tracks coming out today include, “Sad”, the first song Durman ever wrote as Purient, and two remixes: one from Eartheater, aka NY-based Alexandra Drewchin, and the other from Varg²™, aka Swedish producer Jonas Rönnberg. Eartheater’s remix of ‘Memories’ sees the original deconstructed into an almost entirely new production with additional vocals by Drewchin and Varg²™’s re-animation of ‘Fantasy’ turns the breathless love song into a high caliber club banger. Virginia Beach heavy rockers FREEDOM HAWK share their new single “Liftoff”, a raw and psychedelic 9-minute jam that will definitely take fans off guard. The band is currently gearing up to record their new studio album, to be issued in the fall of 2021 through Ripple Music.
This one-off track was recorded in one take, as a result from the band’s regular summer jam sessions. Esteemed Nashville-based artists Peter Groenwald and duo I WAS THE LION recently announced they teamed up for a new collaborative EP titled Come To Life. Out on May 21st, the six song collection finds the trio combining their decades-worth of acclaimed songwriting/production history into a sonically rich, vivid, and mellifluous debut effort. Today they shared their new single “One More,” a sweeping atmospheric offering inspired by existentialism and shooting stars.
The song was co-written by band members Danny Kortchmar and Waddy Wachtel, alongside former Heartbreakers drummer Stan Lynch. The music video was filmed and directed by the five members of The Immediate Family and edited by Michael Perlmutter, who has worked on some of the band’s previous clips.

I TAPE showcases Mensa’s adept lyricism, detailing American dysfunction with a poignancy and articulation that few could match. Grammy-nominated artist Teddy Geiger unveils new video for “Love Somebody”
“Love Somebody” grew from a night Teddy spent with Reed and Wilson during the first few months of quarantine and was influenced by how much her two collaborators have taught her about “real love and family.” “It felt like a fun challenge for me to bring these feelings out in a live setting and get comfortable allowing [them] to be a part of the things I create,” she says. She cites both Reed and Wilson as central male role models in her life, helping her to gain a deeper understanding of herself and her relationships, including her relationship with her father. “I am so proud of what I see in both of them in their family lives and how that affects who they are as creators and what they hold to be valuable,” she says. “[‘Love Somebody’] is a challenge to myself to keep growing and learning and being able to relate in new ways and really be with the people around me.”
