“Falling” is a prelude to what’s to come.
I wanted to create a dreamy, romantic mood, and at the same time, capture the timidity and shyness we feel when it comes to turning a friendship into something more.
This song lays bare the mental seesaw we all experience when pondering, resisting, and falling into life’s best (and most vulnerable) adventure. It’s easy to write about butterflies in your stomach; they just flutter right out of you.

Produced and engineered by Future Teens’ Daniel Radin, the 9-track set is a sublime bridge of folk and indie rock following her 2017 debut, Vows, which KUTX says “drew affectionate comparisons to the flawed, human rock of Sharon Van Etten and Julia Jacklin.” Jones’s songs are rooted in existential angst or failed romances that grew into retrospective anecdotes, some evolving over years as she carefully crafted each lyric and fleshed out the story she wanted to tell. Vanyaland explains, “Tossed captures a hundred opposing sentiments with a diary-like approach to lyricism,” going on to note that “the album shares a soulful gateway to folk music for unsuspecting but staunch pop-rock lovers.” WBUR’s The ARTery adds, “Jones relates her story in plain language. With each verse, she describes a new scene, and with each scene, finds the poignance in some ordinary observation…This is Jones’ gift as a songwriter: to find the metaphor in the mundane, the drama in the everyday.”

Spoken Word Singer-Songwriter Ben Zaidi Signs To Nettwerk; Shares Acoustic Version Of “3,000 Miles From Home”
Today, he shares an acoustic version of his popular track, “3,000 Miles From Home.” Ben explains, “Growing up in Seattle, you get uneasy when the sun shines for too long. I moved from Seattle to Brooklyn a few years ago, and over the past few years have spent a lot of time on the road & out in California (where I’m writing this now). It’s strange the things you miss when you’re away from the place you grew up. It’s not always the happy things. Like when a person leaves your life, sometimes the things you miss about them are their little flaws or annoying habits. I guess that’s how I feel about rain, and its grey, melancholy smell. I guess that’s why I wrote ‘3,000 miles from home, but I can smell it when it rains.’ When it rains, it doesn’t matter where I find myself––for a moment, it’s like coming home.”

With this news, we are FINALLY making it available to our fans for purchase. However, other side effects you may experience after purchasing our album, such as, cooties, child moshing, kitchen island circle pits, food fights, stanky diapers, and fights over which song Alexa should play next are still very plausible and are likely to occur. Proceed with extreme caution.” Vocalist and guitarist Shawn Milke continued, “I’d like to add that although this record was finished being made nearly three years ago, you can rest assured knowing that we are, in fact, older and more exhausted than ever before which makes the listening experience that much more likely to put us to sleep. In these difficult times I think it’s even more important to be remembered by the beauty and the mysteries of nature.
The video is self-made, it is surely not perfect but I’m really happy about how it turned out. I think it represents the song really well.”
