Chinese-Japanese boy group WARPs UP release video for new trilingual trap tune ‘One Hundred degrees’
Following ‘Hali Gali’ in November 2020 and ‘Cloud 9’ in December, ‘One Hundred degrees’ is the group’s third single in three consecutive months. An instrumental version of the song was used briefly in a YouTube teaser video released over a year ago, and now for the first time it is available as a full song. This was the very first track the group worked on when they formed, and it holds a special place in the members’ hearts.

DUKE DEUCE DROPS HIS FIRST RELEASE OF 2021
Quality Control rapper Duke Deuce releases his first single of the year titled “Soldiers Steppin”. The track cross-collaborates Duke Deuce’s notorious allegiance to crunk music with a militaristic themed video co-directed by Carlos Williams and Duke Deuce himself. The video follows “The Memphis’ King of Crunk” as he maintains the intensity and lyrical aggression presented in the single through a series of militia-based tasks and disciplines.
Duke Deuce’s defiance towards the confines of rap music originated from growing up alongside his father, Duke Nitty, a 90s hip-hop rapper and producer. This influence inspired him to revisit crunk music culture, a subgenre staple of the south. Following the release of his 2018 breakthrough single “Whole Lotta”, Duke Deuce was signed by Quality Control Music, where his first two albums, Memphis Massacre (2018)and Memphis Massacre 2 (2020) were released.

Nia John & Wolf Storm Release Epic Cover Version of ‘Total Eclipse of The Heart’ Accompanied with New Video!
Led by Nia John, Wolf Storm were founded in 2019 in Caerphilly, South Wales and have established themselves as one of the country’s top covers bands. Despite being a band which thrives in a live environment Nia has not stood still during lockdown and has now released a cover version of Bonnie Tyler’s immortal Total Eclipse of the Heart, capturing the emotion of the original but adding some of their own magic too. Nia’s recent release of music comes from her sixth album, recorded at Shabbey Road studios, Caerphilly, by Al Steele. As a figurehead for female-fronted rock bands in Wales, It has been fantastic for Nia to cover her female rock role models such as Bonnie Tyler, Pat Benatar, and also great bands such as Aerosmith, Thunder, as well as a few surprises such as Whitney Houston.

Created under the restrictive circumstances we find ourselves living in, the “Fear Up” video sees the collective defying the odds and pushing the limits to unite in one digital space. Featuring virtually all of the extended Crazy Arm family (13 of them!), the footage was filmed on location from their disparate bases in Devon, Dorset, West Yorkshire and Swansea and woven together here.

Last year, Philmon began his journey with the release of a string of singles, including “Memories” and “Sunflowers (I Refuse To Die).” He ended 2020 with the release of his electrifying collaboration with Lindsey Stirling, “No Saving Me.” In addition, the artist has received praise on social media for his hair-raising live performances, including a recent cover of Hillsong UNITED’s “Oceans” on TikTok, covers of songs by names like Ed Sheeran and Lewis Capaldi, and a series of live performances from Live In The Vineyard. Oakland, California singer/songwriter THADEUS GONZALEZ has signed to independent Bay Area psych-rock label Rebel Waves Records, the psych/pop/indie/experimental imprint of powerhouse Bay Area heavy label Ripple Music.
The genre-blending artist, who has been called “a frontman to watch” and has opened for icons like KISS, Motley Crue, Slash, and Bon Jovi, will see his new album, OPPOSITE FACES, released via Rebel Waves later this Spring.
