Atmospheric producer Hiatus previews new album with sweeping single ‘Arrival’

‘Arrival’ follows in the same haunting vein long pursued by Hiatus – real name Cyrus Shahrad – with subtle pulsing beats, detailed production and delicate piano. The track also features a spoken rendition of a poem called ‘The Guest House’ by the 13th century Persian poet Rumi, words that Cyrus says lend the track a powerful message of hope.

On February 26th 2021, Madfish Music will release Nirvana ‘Songlife’ 1967-72, a 6 LP vinyl Deluxe Box Set housing all 5 of the band’s pioneering studio albums – ‘The Story Of Simon Simopath’, ‘All Of Us’, ‘Dedicated To Markos III aka Black Flower’, ‘Local Anaesthetic’, ‘Songs Of Love And Praise’ – alongside the never before released 1972 LP ‘Secrets’. Nirvana were essentially the duo of Irishman Patrick Campbell-Lyons and Greek Alex Spyropoulos – who, following a chance meeting in London during the summer of 1966, took a long, strange trip together.

Neutrals had this to say about the single “Essentially, “In the Future” is a silly pop song about an imagined space-age future of robots and geodesic domes. But on a deeper level, it reflects my retro-futurist nostalgia for the techno-utopia the masses were sold as first industrialization and then technology took over our lives in the West.

Indie/alternative artist Greg Hill has announced the upcoming release of his new EP, “Better Love,” out on all digital platforms 12/4/2020. His third EP of 2020, Greg embarked on re-examining and re-releasing previous works throughout the years. As his sound continued to evolve over time, experimentation allowed him to look at his previous work through a different glass. carolesdaughter Releases “violent” Today Via Arista Records

Although officially released today, “violent” has already struck a chord. After buzzing with previous releases, “cold bathroom floor” and “my mother wants me dead,” carolesdaughter wrote “violent” over a somber beat laden with 808s and creaky acoustic guitar. She conjured up vengeful lyrics through softly sweet delivery by admitting “Now my nose is filled with powder” and warning, “Don’t make me get violent.” She uploaded it to Soundcloud, and it quickly racked up two million streams

King Princess debuts new track “PAIN,” music video forthcoming

The new track follows King Princess’ first new music of 2020, “Only Time Makes It Human,” which PAPER praised as a “sassy and deviously brazen” throwback, while Billboard called it “trippy,” “fun” and “far from anything you would have expected from her.” The track arrived alongside a video by Quinn Wilson and 3D artist Pastelae and was later remixed by The Blessed Madonna, Kitty Ca$h and Yoseppi.

The 1984 Draft delivers vibrant socio-political rock on “Destination Breakdown” 7″

The 1984 Draft, a band who channels American rock sensibilities through a ’90s-tinted punk and indie lens, is set to release the “Destination Breakdown” single in on November 27 via Poptek Records. The single was recorded by Fred Vahldiek (Dark Backward) at his Fredzoz studio in the band’s hometown of Dayton, Ohio.
