After a two-year hiatus, hip-hop trio 2U4U have returned with their new single “Oh My God!”, OUT NOW.
A refreshingly modern UK hip-hop interpretation with clear US influences, “Oh My God!” pays homage to elemental hip-hop whilst staying true to universal musicality. The song interpolates A Tribe Called Quest’s classic featuring Busta Rhymes whilst producing a fresh, hard-hitting and lyrically modern cut. Producer ATMA draws on his long-standing musical influences, blending sonically superb synths with vocal chops and crisp drums. His production perfectly complements MC My Rugema’s lyrical performance, which forgoes his usual autobiographical style for a more essential hip-hop flow, with clever wordplay, memorable one-liners and a rugged vocal intensity.

Hear Anna McClellan’s “Raisin”
“I have long romanticized the idea of jumping off a cliff, and categorized it as the perfect metaphor for letting go. If I could only take that leap of faith, I’d awaken. I’d been wanting to capture the idea in song for awhile and thought it would be a much longer/more epic endeavor. And I’m sure there is still much more to say about it. In Raisin though, upon jumping, the subject appears to float and become weightless. Never actually landing at all.” – Anna McClellan

Out Today: Above & Beyond ‘Diving Out Of Love’ feat vocals from Jono Grant
Debuted in Prague last October, ‘Diving Out Of Love’ is the final single to be released in full from Above & Beyond’s Group Therapy 350 celebrations.
Following ‘Reverie’, ‘I Saw Good’, ‘Jam’ and the Club Mix of ‘Bittersweet & Blue’, ‘Diving Out Of Love’ is the final piece of the puzzle, with Jono Grant from Above & Beyond on vocals once again. He last sang on 2018’s ‘Is It Love?’, from the band’s Billboard #3 album ‘Common Ground’.
Jono Dorr allows listeners to look into a darker time in his life and encourages the need to receive help when struggling in “Deep End.” The somber vocals in the song were inspired by the grief felt at the end of a relationship. “It’s about feeling like you need help. Real help from real friends when you’ve gone to the edge of your mind,” says Dorr. He creates the song’s raw energy through various sounds and other production skills he has obtained through his previous practice. “I wanted the production to feel like you’re having a nightmare at sea,” Dorr explains. “Deep End” reveals his diversity in sound; it draws from the folk genre, which is not usually incorporated in his other music. The stripped-down production creates an eeriness and urgency that is bolstered by Dorr’s fervent, yet graceful vocals. This unadulterated approach to production and lyrical content makes his music stand out amongst his singer-songwriter contemporaries.

Especially anyone dealing with trust issues that has burnt bridges with the people they love. This is when the entire world feels like your enemy and we reach a “dead end street” says Vincent. Fantom produced the beat with assistance from SV the engineer at Loud House Audio playing bass and Matt Scurfield on drums. “The song was a statement from me into the punk scene while continuing to deliver content discussing faith, mental health, and addiction.” says Vincent. Bryce Vine says, “Me and my friends wrote ‘Stay’ almost a year ago when the world was still normal. It’s about all those good times you don’t want to say goodbye to, but you appreciate them when they’re gone. It’s about the hopefulness that those times will come back, which I think we can all relate to right now. I’ve known Cheat Codes since before they were even Cheat Codes, and they just have such great energy that I really wanted to bring them a song that matched that energy, so we could feel like we were all back in those good times. I think it turned into the perfect collaboration.”

The song I am sharing with you today was written at the beginning of the COVID-19 lockdown, in what will be remembered as an incredibly surreal and dreamlike spring in the city of Toronto.
There was a really distinct, yet indescribable, texture that seemed to be thick in the air, and that’s exactly what I wanted to try and translate through “Sparkle & Bleed.”
No one knew what to make of it at all, we were just floating and lost.

Before he was an in-demand figure in the worlds of hip-hop and electronic music, producer Diablo was a major architect of the blown-out sound of his native Florida rap scene. Treating his fans to a heavy-hitting slice of high-octane trap music, Diablo connects with Lil Xan and Lil Wop for “Before The War,” his new single. Layering thumping 808s below an ethereal keyboard melody, Diablo offers a canvas for the two rappers to talk their proudly ignorant sh*t. Together the four-piece create anthemic memoirs for those pursuing self-discovery and happiness, despite the trials life may throw their way.
