Tax $lave is the musical solo project of Ryan Sullivan, a guitar instructor who lives in Asheville, NC. The music will appeal to fans of bands like the Dead Kennedys, FEAR and other old school punk groups, but with some thrash metal influence as well. Tax $lave began in 2006 out of the ashes of Ryan’s previous group called Hungry Ghost, but has been dormant for most of the last fourteen years, until now. The album entitled Finally began in 2006 but was abandoned until tracks were rediscovered in late 2019. When the COVID epidemic hit, it gave Ryan the chance to stay home and finish his long-lost album.
