Italian Alt-Metal band FENISIA reveal ‘Manifesto’ video and single
“Manifesto” is the second single from the band’s new full-length album The Spectator which is out worldwide on October 30, 2020 via Eclipse Records. The album was produced by Ray Sperlonga (American Idol) at Rosary Lane Studios, mastered by Collin Davis (Imagica, Deeds of Flesh) at Imperial Mastering, and the cover art was designed by Charles Prabowo at Blackout Brother.

“It was great being Prism Tats for 6ish years but indescribable to finally be myself, Gary V,” explains Garret Van der Spek. Van der Spek recently decided to adjust his stage name from Prism Tats to one closer to his given name – Gary V.
“Prism Tats was a moniker that served me well but was always going to be a barrier preventing myself and the listener from engaging with my songs in the personal way that I have always strived for,” Van der Spek explained. “My music has always been an entirely solitary creation, just me writing and recording alone at my studio Gary’z Place. However now during the pandemic, losing my day job and having nothing else to do to maintain sanity but make music, it seemed obvious to me that the time had come to say goodbye to Prism Tats and embrace the inevitable.”
HANSON announce livestream concert series; tickets on-sale today
Pop-rock trio HANSON are inviting fans around the world to join them for their first Live-streaming Concert Series, live from their hometown music landmark Cain’s Ballroom. Beginning Oct 9-11th, the series is set to include three shows each month through January, featuring a unique monthly musical theme.
October highlights the 15th anniversary of the band’s live album The Best of HANSON, Live And Electric which includes both well known and rare songs from the band’s discography, ranging their 25 year+ career. For members of the band’s HANSON.net community, the series also offers a limited number of in-person tickets, allowing fans to take in the experience live at Cain’s Ballroom. All guests attending will be seated and adhere to current social distancing guidelines being maintained for public gatherings.
NYC-based grime artists put New York on the map with new single ‘Sun’s 4’
‘Sun’s 4’ is a flag in the ground for grime music in New York City. A collaboration between four NYC-based artists; Producer, Aions illustrates what happens when you put three grime MCs out of New York, on a genre that started in the streets of London. MCs Dutchguts, Gi Major and Lord Of Ciphers showcase their unique styles on the track, forfeiting the hook and seamlessly transitioning into each of their verses. Conceived in the 1980s in Mexico and brought to California through the border inside of his 6-month-pregnant mother, Rudy de Anda is releasing his debut solo record, a love letter to the long historical lineage of rock ’n’ roll music as interpreted through his multicultural lens. “I write my own story, I don’t want to be defined by any scene” De Anda proclaims of his personal journey, and his ability to adapt and flit between cities and cultures is part of why L.A. Record has called his sound “deliberately difficult to classify, familiar but novel at the same time.”

“Tantibus II” continues the story of the band’s 2015 song “Tantibus” (a word with Latin roots meaning “nightmare”), in which the protagonist is stuck within a sleep paralysis and looking for a way out. In “Tantibus II,” the protagonist becomes addicted to this feeling and disconnects from reality into her own mind, where she feels safe. The EXIT sign in the video represents a way out of the nightmare, as seen in the original video for “Tantibus” when the protagonist chases it without ever reaching it. The opening shot of “Tantibus II” is an EXIT sign broken into pieces at the feet of the protagonist, who is holding a hammer. This is when she decided to destroy her way out and sink into her nightmare.

Night Shop Premieres Duet with Waxahatchee “In The Twilight Sun”
Night Shop, the solo project of Justin Sullivan (Flat Worms, Kevin Morby, The Babies), premieres new single “In The Twilight Sun” today. The track is a duet with Katie Crutchfield of Waxahatchee and also features Meg Duffy of Hand Habits on guitar and Jarvis Taveniere of Woods on bass. “‘In The Twilight Sun’ is a song about aging and platonic love, figuring out what to let go of and what you want to bring with you as you move through life,” says Sullivan. “Katie has been a dear friend of mine for a long time, through many different music scenes and eras, and she continues to inspire me with the way she navigates that process of loss and growth. The video for The Middle is thoughtful and surreal, as objects levitate off the ground in a fantasy, rose-tinted world. It’s abandoned, but peaceful. This past spring, Suzzy Roche and her daughter Lucy Wainwright Roche headed down to Nashville to make their third album together.Suzzy had written a batch of songs, informed both by personal loss — her sister, Maggie, and her mother died in 2017 — and her sense of the societal havoc stemming from the 2016 election. Suzzy wrote these close-to-the-heart, close-to-the-bone songs with Lucy always in mind to sing them.
