DEATHBYROMY RELEASES NEW SINGLE “FIENDING FOR A LOVER”

Los Angeles singer and songwriter DeathbyRomy plunges deeper into the dark fringes of pop as she exposes our most visceral desires on her brand new single “Fiending for a Lover,” out today on Capitol Records.

The single serves as DeathbyRomy’s first release since signing with leading entertainment company: SB Projects (Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, J Balvin).

The hard and heavy slice of mischievous alt-pop finds DeathbyRomy flirting with electronic dissonance as she confesses, “My body’s growing quite impatient, I’m getting sick of all this waiting” — thoughts ever more potent and provocative in the depths of 2020 isolation. “This song was written for all the lovesick romantics struggling with loneliness during this lockdown,” she shares about the song’s inspiration. This is DeathbyRomy further merging pop, hip-hop, and electronic, and coating it all in a shiny, sexy black shimmer.

“Fiending for a Lover” is the follow-up to her single “Kiss Me Goodbye,” which dropped on May 22 and has been featured on Spotify’s New Music Friday, Apple Music’s New Music Daily, and YouTube Music’s Pop Rebel, while reaching nearly 2 million global streams already.
