THE DEVIL’S TRADE Releases New Song, “Három Árva”
Frontman Dávid Makó comments on the track: “‘Három Árva’ is a cover of a Hungarian folk song, so called legend ballad from Kalotaszeg, Transylvania. It is about three orphans maltreated by their stepmother so trying to connect their dead mother to call her back. Christianity and occultism lives perfectly together in this song. The orphans manage to talk to their mothers but she can’t help them. I heard this song from Maria Sebestyén and Gergely Agócs but I never thought of singing it. If you listen to those two sing any songs you would understand why. It is another dimension of vocals that I feel blasphemy to try to enter. Also there is nothing wrong with a little blasphemy so I made my own version of the song. There are folk songs that will find their way into your life no matter how hard you try to avoid them.”
New Video Oli Fox Perfect Quarantine Music Video
You might remember him for being picked by Sigrid for her tour, if not… well he is back with a cleverly-crafted straight-to-the-hook pop number called ‘Player 2’. The video was self shot on his laptop/phone while Oli and his friends connect over Zoom, House Party and Tik Tok, playing games and partying. Ah and Oli does a nice lockdown performance of the song during the video too! It does not hurt that the song samples of old games such as Mario, Space Invaders and PacMan.

Liife Connects with Mozzy for “Traumatized,” A Classic West Coast Story
Compton rapper Liife has a knack for weaving complex, detail-rich narratives with a tough-talking West Coast flair. Recruiting another California storyteller for a sinister new anthem, Liife shares “Traumatized” ft. Mozzy, his new single. Riding a beat that would seamlessly fit into a classic G-Funk record, Liife tells a wild story from his youth, expertly relaying a gripping tale of an arson gone wrong over the course of 16 bars: “Anyway we pulled up to the car wash with a gallon of gasoline/When I broke the glass, some splashed on my jeans.” For his verse, Mozzy talks about his evolution from a young firebrand to a grizzled street veteran–he’s mellowed down, but he’ll still come for you if you put his name in your mouth. Together, Mozzy and Liife paint a compelling portrait of how a traumatic youth can leave a scarring impact that doesn’t go away with age.

The lyrics explore a darker side of northern melancholy, describing despairing masses torn apart by deafening silence and the filthy remains of a hollowed self-understanding.”
FAOUZIA RELEASES POWERFUL NEW TRACK “HOW IT ALL WORKS OUT”
“‘How It All Works Out’ is one of my favourite songs that I’ve ever written,” Faouzia shares. “I wrote this song on my first trip to Sweden and it holds a really special place in my heart. With everything going on in the world right now, I expect this song to have a different meaning for everyone. I’m especially excited to hear how my fans are affected by the message. It might be bittersweet for some, hopeful for others, or somewhere in between. I know where it lands for me, but I’ll never tell”
“I’ve never released a music video that wholeheartedly showed my personality. The video for ‘Girlfriend’ is the first time I’ve truly been myself in every aspect. I can’t cook and I’m an absolute nerd. It’s also meant to visually represent what I want people to do when they hear my music and that’s to have fun in their very own way,” says Puth.
