Razteria/Renay “BOMS” (electronic pop, indie)

BOMS (blood of my soul) represents the beautiful vulnerability we each feel when we love unconditionally. It came as a stream of consciousness three years ago, and developed into this orchestra of intense sound. Razteria is so grateful for the collaboration for the video (EA Films and Alex Zajicek), the single’s cover art with Baidi Kamagate (model and photographer) as well as the musicians that helped bring it to life. Kora by Yacouba Diarra, cuatro by Jackelyn Rago, live drums by Jayme Arredondo, all other instruments/vocals/mix by myself, and mastered by Trakworx.

Glints captures the angst and zeitgeist of the last couple of months in ’28 Days’ mixtape

After releasing his debut album ‘Choirboy’ and a massive sold-out AB show early March, Covid-19 stopped Glints’ campaign in its tracks. The show-circuit came to a halt and a summer full of gigs all over Belgium and France vanished. An all too recognizable story for anyone in the music industry today.

Linda Pagnini – ‘Hand In Mine’. Survival. Reflection. Recovery.

Survival. Reflection. Recovery. Hand In Mine is a hymn from the strongest best part of Linda Pagnini, giving orders to pick herself up.

The centrepiece of this song is the soul. The guts given vocal that cracks with the weight of heart and emotion, but this isn’t romance… Its closer. Hand In Mine is about self-preservation, a reminder to live and to love.

Today they share their lead single and video “House on Fire,” an upbeat and energetic anthem that seemed to be aligning perfectly with the surreal summer the world will experience this year. “House on Fire” came from Warren’s haunting feeling that a friend who was taking too many sleeping pills might forget to turn his stove off.

Bella White To Release Debut Album Just Like Leaving On September 25th

With a piercing, honest voice and a penchant for telling gorgeous, heartbreaking stories, Bella White is gearing up to show the world just how well a Canadian does “high and lonesome” on her debut album, Just Like Leaving, out everywhere on September 25th. Born in Calgary, Alberta, to a family with deep roots in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, 20-year old White is no newcomer to bluegrass or American roots music, having been raised by the sounds of Monroe and His Bluegrass Boys and Doc Watson from before she could walk. At 18 years of age, White took her childhood bluegrass education to Boston’s ever-burgeoning acoustic and roots music scene and began crafting her coming-of-age debut; a nine-song collection exploring the angst of a modern teenager with timeless and universally relatable language.

London based T Truman releases debut single “Holiday”

T Truman is the new solo project and alter ego of the Vaccines’ keyboardist Timothy Lanham. Today he is sharing his debut single “Holiday”.

Attempting to escape complete accountability for his lyricism, Lanham created T Truman as his very own writing scapegoat. Truman admits, “If I were to take the lyrics completely seriously, I don’t think I’d like me.”

A staple in The Cradle’s acoustic live sets over the past couple years, “End of the Day” is a song that bucks easy categorization: a repetitious lullaby, a series of images at greater or lesser distance, an ode-poem to Brooklyn and the daily splendid and heartbreaking minutia of city life, a first-person account of events of questionable significance, a dream that goes both in towards nostalgia and out towards adventure.

Purgatory is the follow up to Mikel’s 2018’s electronic, soulful dance pop debut EP Night of Your Life. Mikel’s lyrics are cleverly inspired by the pop artists he clearly adores, and his lyrical delivery is equally on point.” Of the EP’s track “Friday Night” Popdust said, “Glitter synths vibrating through an R&B-splashed arrangement, mingling with brassy horns and a dive-bar groove.”
