Baron Minker Gets Trippy and Political on His “Anthem of The Rich and The Bored” Video (V13.net)

“A complex song, “Anthem of The Rich and The Bored” is rather hard to describe, except to say that it is about as experimental as it gets. It has a trippy sound and vibe to it, which is reinforced by the colourful new music video. The sole purpose; however, is not to just make you feel like you’ve gone to a club and you’ve had way too much to drink. Thematically, it’s the only political-type song that you’ll find on Minker’s new record, directly targeting society’s elites who abuse power and view certain classes of people as only a means to an end or of lesser importance.” (V13.net)

Satori (ex Rx Bandits) Release “Decision”

It’s been a long time since most people have heard any news from Satori. In 2005, Steve Jess Borth II started the band as a side project from Rx Bandits and released Savor Every Moment on Asian Man Records. After that, the band quietly evolved into CHLLNGR and most people were none the wiser. However, the band did record quite a bit of material between 2007-2009 that was never officially released and is finally seeing the light of day. Today, you can stream “Decision” at V13.net.

ULTHAR To Unleash Providence Full-Length Via 20 Buck Spin June 12th

With the release of their Cosmovore debut in 2018, ULTHAR presented a twisted and warped dystopia where furiously-paced, inverted death metal and scathing angular blackness defined a new way forward. Now the band returns with the grotesquely intangible Providence, whereby ULTHAR stretches the fabric of previously trod worlds into idiosyncratic new forms and elevated levels of primal intellect.

Modern Nature Share New Track “Harvest”

Of the track band leader Jack Cooper says: “Harvest represents Autumn on the record and centres around rituals and superstitions. A lot of the words and ideas that became the bones of the song were written the days after a vivid experience in Lewes for Bonfire Night.” Of the video he adds: “Lockdown Britain forced us (my wife Tsouni and I) into making our directorial debut and this is the outcome. A moving snapshot of the year through the medium of everyday objects. The record moves from winter through the seasons and back to winter… We end up back where we began… It’s familiar, many of the objects are the same but everything has morphed.”

FRANK IERO & THE FUTURE VIOLENTS Return With Their Ideal Music Video For “Medicine Square Garden”
