BEFORE SUNDAY – single “Devil”
Before Sunday is a band with a raw, energetic and personal attitude. Their sound blurs the lines between different genres, including pop, edm, hard rock, funk, and alternative, revealing a rather eclectic approach to songwriting and a very impressive musicianship across the board. There is so much more to the band’s sound. They also have a more melodic side, which explores many nuances and different stylistic directions.
SoloS (Hella members) Share Riveting Single “Chains of the Heart”
“the band channels the art-pop eccentricities of Talking Heads while exploring the atmospheric landscape of what could pass for an outtake from J Dilla’s Donuts. The song makes its way through various rhythmic starts and stops, offering a complex insight into Ross and Seim’s fascinating musical relationship and the ways in which their abundant creativities compliment one another.” – Beats Per Minute

For a band whose full moniker is Antichrist Demoncore, it may come as no surprise that Satan plays a prominent rule across the record. However, Satan here serves as a motif; a motif for rebellion, for self-discovery, and for rejecting authority rather than as a literal figure of praise. With a tongue-in-cheek title that serves as a response to Kanye West’s Jesus Is King album, Satan Is King is the antidote to excess, greed, and mindless indulgence.

Norwegian electronic artist Gundelach shares “Cynical Mind” video
“I had a session with Aurora in Bergen and we immediately clicked on a really deep level. We wrote this song about all the cynical, cruel people of the world. Aurora is very weird but super genuine and very professional. I have never heard anyone do so many harmonies in a row only using one take for each. We did all the writing in one day, but I spent over a year on the production with some help from my friends. Vetle Junker (Softcore untd.) recorded a whole orchestra of ice-cold prophet pads. Øyvind Mathisen (Nils Bech) did some add prod and recorded Sara Övinge playing the violin. Bendik HK (Pantha du Price) had some fun with the Analog Rytm. and Knut Sævik(Lindtrøm, Todd Terje) re-arrangered it.”
St. South hints at optimism through heartbreak with her latest self-produced track “If It’s Not You (Feat. N.Y.C.K.).” While previously released song “Does Your Brain Ever Get This Loud?” is sprinkled with chillwave fuzz and a warm layered sample of her voice, “If It’s Not You” ups the tempo, despite the fact it was written directly after a breakup. This juxtaposition between vulnerable storytelling and pop overtones is one of St. South’s greatest strengths.
