NEW ‘OXYTOXIC’ MUSIC VIDEO BY RACKETT

“I’m excited (and relieved) to emerge from the editing desk to present you with my new ‘Oxytoxic’ music video. I made this myself, featuring a cast of queens I’ve met and shared stages with throughout Australia. Filmed in Melbourne at Pride of Our Footscray, on the last day of my ‘Oxytoxic’ tour I was so inspired by the creativity and talent existing within the LGBTQIA performance space I had to make a video with them. Produced, directed and edited by me with the help of some friends supplying a green screen and camera. My outfit is a g-string from Kmart, gloves my friend made me and a bikini top I salvaged from my sister’s bin. DIY aside, this video is a celebration and I’m very proud to have had the chance to make it.”

Here to bust out of Doledrum, clad in a t-shirt that screams SOCIALISM and armed with drum machine, synth, pedal and icy stare are Working Men’s Club, and their self-titled debut album.

Vlad Holiday shares new single “Phonograph” via Brightest Young Things

Vlad Holiday shares the second single “Phonograph”, from his upcoming debut EP Fall Apart With Me.

“Phonograph is about giving everything you have to a love that you know can’t last, which to me is everything in life that I love. It romanticizes the past but is very aware of it. I wanted the production to reflect that. The song revolves around an extremely dark guitar tone, sprinkled horn stabs, and a Phil Spector-esque percussion loop, recorded on tape and slowed down. I imagined the groove to feel very laid back but also quite uplifting in moments.”
