Toronto sextet JAUNT share new BADBADNOTGOOD produced single ‘Delighted To Be Spoken To’

Toronto-based six-piece Jaunt are set to release their debut album All In One on April 16th. The band formed in 2016 as a casual recording project that, upon the release of their debut E.P Chat, became a local overnight sensation. Now, word is spreading with their last few singles gaining support from the likes of Lauren Laverne at BBC Radio 6 Music and Matt Wilkinson at Beats 1 as well as the likes of NTS, Clash, DIY Magazine and The Line Of Best Fit.

Snake Oil Jesus was a song Helligators originally published in 2012 as a single. It was the re-recorded and included in the band’s second album, Road Roller Machine. Since then, it has become the song with which their fans and crowds in general have become most fond of and it has been the closing song of Helligators live shows for years. In the last two years, the band has done many acoustic shows called ‘The Road Roller Unplugged Machine’, playing songs from their three albums in a re-arranged acoustic version, along with cover songs from their favourite artists.

Enlisting production from both sides of the Atlantic, the lead single ‘Hour We On’ was produced by Brooklyn based Jim E-Stack (Haim, Anna Of The North, Dillon Francis), the EP opens up with the crescendo of ‘Bright’ produced by rising London producer and previous collaborator Daniel Hylton Nuamah, whilst the 2-Step groove of ‘Rush’ was produced by West Coast Major Lazer, Diplo and Madonna collaborator Santell. The EP creative was driven by Places + Faces founder Ciesay.

Pavey Ark share title track from debut album “Close Your Eyes and Think of Nothing”

Pavey Ark are a fast-rising alternative folk band from Hull, fronted by singer and songwriter Neil Thomas. Formed in 2016, their debut album “Close Your Eyes and Think of Nothing” is out March 20th.
