of Montreal share video for “Get God’s Attention By Being An Atheist”
“I wanted to use child actors because this song is an anthem to rebellion and fuck-all’edness. Anybody who’s spent any time around five year olds knows that they are the embodiment of punk rock élan. My brother’s son plays the role of Baby Lanc, a sort of Pied Piper character that teaches other kids how to conquer their demons, and have a blast while doing it!”- Kevin Barnes
Oakland, CA post-rock band Unconditional Arms is debuting a new track (“You’re Just As Desperate”) off the upcoming album ‘Formation’ out April 3rd on Bay Area indie label Sell The Heart Records – run by Andy Pohl of Tsunami Bomb.

Willie said of this EP, “It means a lot to me for a variety of reasons. First, it is a stripped-down version of me that takes listeners back to how I got here in the first place. For a majority of these songs it’s just me and my guitar. It’s raw and I really wanted the listener to hear me without all of the bells and whistles that production can add to create a sound. Second, there is an emphasis on my ability to write songs. Lastly, these songs are very much a part of my experience and the growing that has occurred over the last few years. Within these stories is a ton of heart, through real life events that I’ve shared with close friends and family.”

Million Lands has long history beyond the release of their first record, The Ochre World, would suggest (including time in a Division 1 basketball pep band! in 2003). But it took some years for Kid and Ben to settle into a regular basement noise hang. What came out of these rolling-tape sessions could be described as a post-instrumental haze of dubbed out, free referentialism touching on a myriad of reference points – from Bitches Brew to Disintegration. Kid and Lanz have made a priority out of subverting traditional approaches to their instruments and weave this energy together for their first mind-blowing release on Ernest Jenning Record Co.
Of the inspiration behind the song, Clark reflects, “I was obsessed with Bette Davis and Joan Crawford and Ryan Murphy’s ‘The Feud’ just got in my head. That idea that love is a fire, you just never know if it’s going to warm you—or burn you. That’s where ‘Fire’ came from.”

Nashville based soul rock band KB & THE IDYLLWILDE has released their highly anticipated new EP, I Just Wanna Love You, I Just Wanna Let You.
“Basically, this album encompasses all the ways we distort and experience love, or how I have at least…
Its a lot of addiction, egoic superiority/inferiority tendencies, and just plain codependent shit. Its a ‘love’ album about not knowing how to get it right, but celebrating all the ugly/beautiful ways we get it wrong.” – Katie Burke

Handsome Jack are kicking down the doors of 2020 with their brand new single “In The Midnight Hour.” This raucous cover of Wilson Pickett’s signature ‘65 hit retains all the soul and swing of the original, but this scruffy Lockport, NY rock trio adds an element of danger to the track as it struts, swaggers and pounds, turning this beloved classic into a modern, muscular slice of rock-n-roll for the new decade.
“My vision for ‘candy’ came to me when my friend Jay Vee and I were at the studio. He played a really somber yet comforting chord progression on his guitar and I instantly thought of something bittersweet,” explains guccihighwaters. “Sometimes you have to end a relationship that feels so good but is bad for you and won’t end well. I felt like a bouncy uplifting drum pattern would complement the ambient melodies and Jay Vee laid those down real quick. After the track was done I had an open verse and was thinking about who it would sound great with — one of the first artists that popped into my head was Lund. We spoke a few times in the past about making some music together and at that time we just set up a tour together so I felt like it was the perfect timing and the perfect song for him to be a part of.”

Another Day’s Armor Premiere Video for Single “Underneath”
Another Day’s Armor premiered their official music video for their single “Underneath” today.
“We wanted to go with a different approach for this song and music video. In a time where their is such an overflow of music and content being released the last thing we wanted to do is be predictable with our new product. The video is dark and maniacal but also depressing in a way due to the main character not knowing how to express his affection in a normal way” says Daemien Drake, vocalist of the band.

The video can be tied to Shallou’s work as a climate change activist. “It feels like humanity is falling out of love with the world we inhabit, losing touch with nature and chasing things devoid of meaning,” he says of the cause.
