Adam explains: “I wrote this song with the sick Futurecut and Ruxley. It was the second song we wrote of the day, the first one didn’t feel right but then I pulled up the beat for hostage and we all knew we had to write something to it. It sort of all fell into place within a few hours and I walked away from the session knowing I had something really special.”

Since his earliest projects nearly two decades ago, Polish composer Jacaszek — aka Michal Jacaszek — has kept some proximity to film music. Initially, his output simply felt cinematic by nature; densely detailed electroacoustic textures on releases like Lo-Fi Stories (2004), Treny (2008), Glimmer (2011), and the critically acclaimed KWIATY (2017) evoked dimly-lit worlds within themselves, vignettes of the imagination. Over time his interest in sound design and collaboration would manifest actual film projects and commissions, some of which have earned him awards. Jacaszek’s practice — an amalgamation of ambient, classical, and musique concrete — deploys field recordings, acoustic samples, poetry, and baroque instrumentation to paint pictures, oftentimes melancholic, nostalgic, tragic.

Born and raised in the North East of England, RJ Thompson’s indie-pop sensibilities and love of all things analogue see his artistry break the mould of the stereotypical modern-day singer songwriter. Growing up in a small village in Co. Durham, but only a stone’s throw away from the bustle of nearby Newcastle, RJ spent his childhood yearning for the bright lights of a big city, and learning the fundamentals of as many instruments as he could get his hands on. Those early years learning his craft would prove invaluable, eventually leading to his recent success performing in some of the world’s most famous venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, supporting Jools Holland on tour. This artist feels truly universal. Honest. Vulnerable. Inventive. Relatable. Fiercely independent. Never boring.

Hard Road Home, Bill Curreri’s third album is perhaps his most artistically ambitious musical offering to date. Creatively, Hard Road Home continues Curreri’s signature style of fusing memorably moving melodies and poetically inspired lyrics with soaring three-part harmonies, a rock-solid beat and unsurpassed musicianship… all hallmarks of Curreri’s 2014 successful and critically acclaimed album, Son Of An American Dream.
Modern day folk-rock musician/instrumentalist Pablo Dylan grew up with music at the center of his life. He discovered his own passion for the art at a young age and possessed the ambition to make his mark on the world just the same.
In his early teens, Pablo focused on finding his voice and experimented with a number of musical styles. He continued with a string of one-off record releases in the years to follow. He also earned production credits in collaboration with artists like Erykah Badu, A$AP Rocky, OG Maco, D.R.A.M., and Brent Faiyaz. Pablo soon grew disillusioned with the highly-influenced process of creating music simply with focus on sales projections instead of artistic integrity. So, he took a break from releasing music, locked himself in the studio and thus began his journey into a new-found sound.
Westside Tucson (Barrio Hollywood) native Psypiritual and Detroit producer the Lasso’s new album is “Kirlian.” Named after the high voltage photo technique that reveals auras, the album is a bombastic synthesis of Sonora & Wu-Tang – smokey, soulful, and reflective like a Jobim guitar part. From guitar solos to lush pads & translucent synths, time was traveled as Psypiritual & The Lasso created a record devoted to their local experiences both personally and culturally. A laid back mix of psychedelic instrumentation and blunt scented word play from the deserts of Southern Arizona.

Prepare for an electrifying synergy of industrial harshness and dimness: German pioneers of European gothic metal, CREMATORY, have released their new single, “Unbroken”, off of their upcoming eponymous album, to be released via Napalm Records on March 6, 2020.
“There are a lot of themes covered on the album as a whole and I thought it best to separate some of these themes so that there can be time for everyone to digest some of the songs before we move along to others,” Hayley explains of releasing “PETALS FOR ARMOR I.” “It’s a way to include people on the journey in the same way that I experienced it.”
