St. Vincent a/k/a Annie Clark has unfolded new dimensions of “Uneventful Days” a/k/a “quite possibly the best song Beck has made since Morning Phase” (STEREOGUM) from seven-time GRAMMY-winner Beck’s current album Hyperspace a/k/a “his best in a decade” (PEOPLE).
St. Vincent, who plays guitar, bass and keys in addition to remixing the song, commented:
“I remixed Beck’s new song, ‘Uneventful Days!’ I guess I was listening to a lot of ’70s Herbie and WAR at the time and wondering how much funk was inside me, too. I sent it to Beck and he dug it, but he said ‘it should be 3 bpm faster.’ And what do you know? HE WAS SO RIGHT. It made all the difference in the groove.”

This simple and peaceful area that is also expansive and grandiose with each of us playing our part in the song and in life.”
SHAPE SHIFTING FEMALE FORM – ethereal electro-pop: UV ‘Summoning’
shot while 9 months pregnant, Marina Elderton (aka UV) returns this week with a stunning new video for ‘Summoning’, directed by Phillip James McGoldrick.

Her first solo release in nearly five years and the first project she has co-produced, Thirties is a deeply personal record that chronicles the beauty and brutality of Andrews’ past decade. LOGAN MIZE AND WILLIE JONES COLLABORATE ON NEW SINGLE ‘I AIN’T GOTTA GROW UP’ – LISTEN HERE
Heartland country rocker Logan Mize and rising star Willie Jones unveil a brand new collaboration today with the song “I Ain’t Gotta Grow Up,” a song Billboard calls ” an infectious ode to youth.” Produced by Dan Agee (HBO’s Big Little Lies, Joe Nichols, Jessie James Decker), the party anthem was written by Kyle Fishman, Dallas Davidson, and Rhett Akins seamlessly fusing Mize’s “serrated edge vocals” and Jones’ “audaciously innovative” (Rolling Stone Country) twang laden hip-hop swagger for a dance-inducing melody set to the tone of rambunctious youth.
“Parakeet” is a gorgeous song that BIRTHH (aka Alice Bisi) penned as a tribute to her beloved grandmother… in her words, “Growing up I used to spend a lot of time with my grandma, she was the silent type, definitely someone who showed her love through action, not as much through words. She had two parakeets, her eyes watered a little when the first one died, she loved Nougat and I don’t remember her ever yelling at me – or at anybody else for that matter. Two years ago I was touring around Europe supporting Hein Cooper, my dad called me and said that nana just had a stroke, that she survived but wasn’t really the nonna Franca we were used to anymore. Before visiting her at the hospital I collected all the pictures and memories I had of my childhood with her, that’s how “Parakeet” was born. Every line is a memory, music is a time machine, I wrote this one for myself and myself only.”
