JASMINE CAIN Releases Official Lyric Video for “Money,”
Nashville based Alternative Pop / Rock artist JASMINE CAIN, named Musician of the Year by All That Shreds Magazine, has released the official lyrix video for her newest single, “Money.” Created by Jordan Roepke, “Money” is the second single off of her upcoming LP, SEVEN (due out February 2020), and can be pre-ordered for 12/20 release via The Label Group / INgrooves.
Day Of The Doors 2020 To Feature Original Morrison Hotel Restored In Los Angeles On January 4
The “Day of The Doors” annual celebration will mark its fourth year with a special celebration at the location of the original Morrison Hotel on Hope Street in downtown Los Angeles on January 4, 2020. The event will see hotel restored to its original façade as captured on the iconic cover of the Doors fifth album, also titled Morrison Hotel, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2020.
Morrison Hotel was released in February of 1970 on Elektra Records, at the height of the Vietnam War and unrest at home in the United States. It is widely regarded as one of the Doors’ best albums, featuring topical tracks like “Peace Frog” and the band’s signature bluesy romps in “Waiting for the Sun” and “You Make Me Real.” The album peaked at #4 on the Billboard chart and the signature hit “Roadhouse Blues” continues to be one of the band’s most beloved songs to this day with over 125 million streams. A 50th Anniversary Deluxe Edition of Morrison Hotel will be released in 2020 by Rhino.

Abandoning the heavily-layered textures of 2017’s Freedays for a more organic, stripped-down approach, A Wave of Golden Things leaves Savino’s distinct voice and song craft as the centerpiece of the album. Opting for an immersive experience, Savino self-recorded and self-produced this album – set up residence and a mobile recording rig on a hemp farm in the Appalachian mountains. Recorded in just under three weeks, with much of it arranged on the spot, the album maintains a sense of immediacy, celebrating raw performance over perfection.

Pittsburgh-based indie folk artist Alan Getto shares new single “I’d Take It All Back” off his upcoming EP. Northern Transmissions premiered the track on Friday, and shared details about the forthcoming EP and his appearance at New Orleans’s Folk Alliance – he’ll be performing select showcases as part of the festival following the release. Alan Getto’s If I Punch A Wall EP is out January 10th – keep an eye out for additional tour dates supporting the EP following the release.

A Normal Temporary Reaction To Life Events was written and captured incrementally from November 2016 to October 2019 in Wenzhou, China by HUMANS ETCETERA’s sole member, Christopher Henry. On the album, Henry handles all vocals, guitars, bass, drums, keys, xylophone, sampling, recording, mixing, and cover artwork, after which the tracks were mastered by Bill Henderson at Azimuth Mastering.
