CYN Releases “What Are You Doing New Years Eve?”
CYN returns today with a festive cover of the Frank Loesser-penned 1947 holiday classic, “What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve?” Shot in Los Angeles at the YouTube Space, the video sees CYN serving up pure elegance and old fashioned glamour—decked out in a gorgeous floor-length emerald green dress and clutching a vintage mic while bathed in a spotlight’s warm glow, green velvet curtains serving as the backdrop.
TOMMY CASH RELEASES VIDEO FOR NEW SINGLE ‘SDUBID’
The video, which was directed and written by Tommy and his long-time creative partner Anna Himma (who also creative directed and styled the clip), shows off another conceptually brilliant piece of film by the pair; filtering Tommy’s skewed take on the world through a soundtrack of left-of-centre, trap-pop. The track, which was produced by Umru (Charli XCX, Dorian Electra, A.G. Cook) and Tommy himself, moves forward from the ideas presented on last record ‘¥€$’ and looks ahead to new releases coming in 2020.
Tall Tall Trees (of Kishi Bashi) shares triumphant new single
Tall Tall Trees is the pseudonym of songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Mike Savino. Moving to New York in the early aughts with aspirations of being a bassist in the city’s vibrant jazz and experimental music scene, Savino soon switched his focus to banjo and writing songs, resulting in the eponymous 2009 debut, Tall Tall Trees. In the decade since, Savino has toured non-stop, pioneering a world of psychedelic electric banjo music, captivating audiences with his loop-based one man shows, as well as alongside frequent collaborator, Kishi Bashi.

Wildstreet began in 2006 and released their self-titled debut album in 2009 with Retrospect Records.
