JAX ANDERSON (FKA FLINT EASTWOOD) ANNOUNCES HEAL EP ON 11.22 ON NEON GOLD
“Scared to death is about the moment I realized that not everything I was taught as a kid was true, specifically when it comes to my own mortality. I remember sitting at my friend’s house & thinking ‘this is it. this is all that life is. nothing more, nothing less. & that’s okay.’ There’s a certain amount of freedom that comes with knowing that this is all we have.” — Jax Anderson

Peewee Longway Elevates His Game in His Impossibly Hard “Up Up” Video
Effortlessly stunting with his malleable flow, few rappers have the trap bonafides of ATL mainstay Peewee Longway. Rising to the top of the game with his new video, Peewee shares “Up Up.” Rhyming in a deliberate cadence atop Lil Mister’s dramatic bells and insistent 808s, Peewee exudes an unassailable confidence with his tongue-twisting stunts: “Bought the Maybach ’cause it matched the Philippe/Cartier shake when I’m geekin’ like Screech/Thousand OG’s and they gone in a week/4, 48, that’s a thousand a piece.” Tinted in a deep blue, Peewee’s favorite color, the video finds Peewee counting Benjamins on an Atlanta rooftop before heading to the “booty club” (as Peewee calls it). “Up Up” is a standout track from The Blue M&M 4, Peewee’s Summer 2019 mixtape.

Stream Sandy’s stellar new EP ‘Traces’ on Gorilla vs. Bear
Sandy is a Brooklyn-based trio comprised of Samantha Pathe (synths/vocals), Stephen Pathe (drum machines/samples), and Jeff Carter (synths/vocals). The trio arose from the devastation wrecked by Hurricane Sandy throughout the Jersey Shore in 2012. After the storm destroyed the house Jeff was living in and left him stranded, Stephen offered Jeff a room in his Manasquan, NJ house. Under the same roof, under unfortunate circumstances, the pair naturally started playing music together. They soon brought in Stephen’s sister Samantha to play and write music with them and Sandy – the band – was born.

M.T. Hadley Shares New Track “Reticent”
The song explores the banality of nascent romance and anxious pain portending the ending of friendships. Nothing ever happens. We all-too-often are afraid to say what we mean because it might disturb the delicate unspoken dynamic that holds us together. It follows singles “Private Eye”, a melodic noir conjured from the corny humor of petrol station paperbacks, and “Rattle”, a ballad sung to a newborn baby to telling how grim life truly is. All of M. T.’s videos tell a story of their own, a slightly different story to the songs, and have subtitles so that they can be watched without music. “They just take up more space on a website,” he says, “that’s why people like music videos. They’re just bullshit, boring.” Nothing you do matters.
