Born in Kedah, Malaysia and raised primarily in Kuala Lumpur, Yuna now splits her time between Malaysia and Los Angeles (where she recorded Rouge). “I’m a Muslim singer-songwriter, but I never saw myself as that,” she explains. “That label became more obvious to me as I moved to LA…it was really cool that everyone I met supported the fact that I do my own thing and don’t sacrifice my identity for the music.”
French acid-fuzz/psych/stoner-rock Duo Electric Jaguar Baby shared music video for the single “Witch I Love”
After released three EPs in three years ( ‘EP 1’, ‘Moonshiner’ and ‘Old Songs From Beyond’ ) and then an EP compilation last year, French acid-fuzz/psych/rock/stoner duet Electric Jaguar Baby is about to release its debut full-length album planned for a physical/digital release on October 25th through El Diablo Records and Slice of Wax Records (Medicine Boy, etc.).
The list of artists who can [capably] play two instruments at once is short, but Donna is on it, and pulls it all off effortlessly. By design, everything they do in their live show is executed live—no loops, no samples, no backing tracks. Their goal is simple but lofty: execute a full trio sound in time with just eight limbs. This makes the band as much about their passion for their gear as they are about their colossal sound. Many of Diane’s lyrics entwine the personal and political, often weaving together topics of sexuality, gender roles, and political crisis. Their debut album is a full-force barrage of emotional expressions of deep pain, intense sexuality, and personal and political power. Diane’s voice frequently shifts from throat-wrenched whispers to explosive ranting, the melodic line often warping under the weight of her words.
The Sunshine of Your Youth was released in 2015 to glowing coverage from SPIN, Relix, Paste, WXPN, Philly Voice and more. The debut also saw the band collaborate with lauded comedy site Funny or Die for their hilarious “A Million Ways” music video. At the end of 2016, following a heavy tour cycle, singer & principal songwriter Joseph Haller put the band on hiatus citing mental and physical exhaustion. “I was at a point where I could not continue to tour. And even if I could, I was not in a state where I would have been able to do the songs from Sunshine any justice.” noted Haller.
“The opportunity to make something that inspired me, inspired by people whose work and energy I eagerly desire to amplify, was irresistible. This piece is a result of my own journey, my celebration of others on the path, and my desire for us all to get free.” – Nikki Jean
EARTHGANG Release “Up” Music Video!
“In a rap scene where viral stardom is often prioritised over musicality, [EarthGang] infect a dose of well-needed lyricism with their label debut.” — NME ★★★★☆
8KIDS Release High Energy, Anti-Right-Wing Music Video!
Says the band:“There is no excuse not to speak out against the right-wing populism, against hatred and against intolerance. As an artist, you have to take a clear stand here. The absurdity of the current (world-political) events prompted us to confront this topic with a satirical song.“

Having racked up over 20 million streams and press support from the likes of Complex, Wonderland, Clash Magazine, ELEVATOR and more, Leeds based producer Karnaval Blues today reveals his stunning debut mixtape You Come With The Rain via Mind of a Genius. Showcasing intricate electronic beats and soulful vocals, the body of work immediately marks Karnaval Blues as an artist to watch heading into 2020. Speaking on the release, Karnaval Blues states:
I’ve been working on this project for a while now and it’s importance in my life is indescribable. I want this project to bring an immersive sense of nostalgia to everyone that listens, and create a musical landscape that captures the entire spectrum of human emotion, from the lowest blues to the highest symphony.
Warm and flawless, GRAE shares the touching ‘Fade To Back’.
Written from the perspective of Grae as a child, the track depicts how it feels to grow up with a parent suffering from alcohol dependency. Honest and poignant, the track is a personal and tender final piece revealed from her impressive debut EP ‘New Girl’

L Devine’s quest to craft the perfect pop song is connecting with a rapidly growing audience. Charli XCX has hailed her as an artist of the future and everyone from V Magazine and Billboard, to YouTube and Amazon Music has listed her as a “one to watch.” There’s a natural spark between L Devine and her expanding following – the vulnerability of her songwriting is embraced by fans who are experiencing similar growing pains as they transition into adulthood.
