Cementing herself in Seoul’s live music scene, Rocky is often compared to greats such as Nina Simone, Erykah Badu, and Billie Holiday, as well as future legends like Janelle Monae and Macy Gray. She mixes jazz and soul, with hip hop and reggae to create a sound that is uniquely her own, and is set to release her debut EP in early 2020.
Liam Bailey Signs to Big Crown Records – New Single “Champion” Out Today
Big Crown Records is happy to announce our newest signing to the label, Liam Bailey. Born in Nottingham to an English mother and Jamaican father, Bailey grew up listening to his parents’ Bob Marley, Stevie Wonder, and Jimi Hendrix records. After moving to London, his emotive and heartfelt brand of acoustic guitar-driven soul soon attracted the attention of Amy Winehouse, who tracked him down after hearing one of his tunes and signed him to her label in 2010. Since then Bailey has put out records with some of the most notable producers in pop music and lent his unmistakeable sound to a few different genres.
KRANIUM ANNOUNCES NEW PROJECT MIDNIGHT SPARKS
Dancehall superstar Kranium has announced the release of his latest project and a brand new single for fans. Midnight Sparks, out via Atlantic Records, is the highly-anticipated follow up to 2015’s Rumors and is due out later this Fall. The project will include his previous single “Talkin” featuring PJ and the sultry, R&B-tinged anthem “In Charge,” which released at midnight yesterday and comes with an accompanying Works of Ace-directed lyric video out today.
A Thousand Horses release new single ‘Livin’ My Best Life’
Produced by Grammy Award-winning producer Dave Cobb and recorded at Nashville’s historic RCA Studio A, ‘Livin’ My Best Life’ is the first track unveiled from the band’s forthcoming new album, which is set for release next year. The album is A Thousand Horses’ first project in partnership with Cobb’s Low Country Sound imprint at Elektra Records. Additional album details to be announced soon.

I’ve never really worked with acoustic guitar before, and in ‘Look At Me Now’ it’s an umbilical connection to the Lilith-Fair-era artists I grew up listening to, like Jewel and Sarah McLaughlan, who’s wistfully adult lyrics I pretended to understand at the time and now do.”
