Composing4you – Track: Hollywood Rock
Wolfgang Steinwidder started playing the flute at the age of six years, but always felt, that he was not the kind of musician to play the songs of others. He heard melodies in his head, so beautiful, that he often started crying. At the age of ten, he got his first guitar and started taking lessons. At the age of 14 he started songwriting (1987). In 1992 he started studying at the conservatory singing and piano. In 1995 he recorded his first songs in Vienna. Then, due to love and private troubles he stopped for several years. In 2001 he started again writing songs. In 2003 he founded a band and wrote ten songs for that project. In 2006 he wrote a classical mass that got never released. Then he built his own house and studio and stopped again for some years. In 2013 he started again and recorded another unreleased song for a sports event. Since 2014, he built up his studio and wrote several songs. In 2017, he founded Composing4you, and finally started going his way in a professional way. Until today 9 songs got released. An album and tour is planned for 2021.

Watch Amy O’s video for catchy new single, “Crushed” | Shell is out Oct 25 on Winspear | NA tour dates
About the song Amy Oelsner says: “Crushed” is about looking back on that time in late adolescence/early adulthood when you don’t have much of a place of your own in the world, so you find spaces that are yours in the public sphere. Abandoned roads, parking garages, suburban hideaways- somewhere to discover yourself and each other. The video was directed by Anisa Curry Vietze and animated by Hadley Gephart. Not too long ago, Anisa attended the teen center where I worked with her friends (who were also featured in the video.) It was special to work with them on this project as it tied together my own personal memories of adolescence with my present self, who works to empower young people in their creativity as an Arts Educator and Organizer.”
“This song is about accepting the parts of yourself that you hate and realising your biggest superpower is to be originally, authentically yourself,” explained YUNGBLUD. “Working with Dan Reynolds was such a dream come true as he is a huge inspiration for me. The song literally came out of the studio within a day. The mutual raw energy between us made this song what it is. ”
