Globally acclaimed artist and producer Cashmere Cat unveils “FOR YOUR EYES ONLY” today. The song comes accompanied by a Jake Schreier-directed video featuring Emmy-winning actor Margaret Qualley (Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, Fosse/Verdon, The Leftovers) in motion capture as Cashmere Cat’s new companion, the eponymous Princess Catgirl.
Versus Release Hard-Hitting New Single, “Awake”
Seattle-based outfit, Versus, has released a brand new single, “Awake.” The track is the first new music the band has released since their debut LP, The Cardinal, which was released in March 2017 via Revival Recordings. Kentucky-based pop-rock artist Silicone Boone has announced the forthcoming release of his debut album The Reaches, out November 8, 2019. The announcement was made via mxdwn, who premiered lead single “Found You,” this week. “There aren’t a lot of artists with a story as unique and fascinating as that of rock musician Silicone Boone,” mxdwn commented orf the artist, who grew up in an Amish family with no exposure to the outside world. “Like an athlete that discovers a sport as a young adult only to suddenly and unexpectedly dominate, Silicone Boone’s lack of a rock ‘n roll upbringing didn’t stop him from excelling in the genre. This is the kind of release that grabs your attention from the opening notes and doesn’t let go. PostScript Release Choreographed Music Video “EVOLVE”
PostScript is composed of JT Tollas (Famous Last Words) a singer/ songwriter from Petoskey, Michigan. The song “Evolve” is a dance based music video that comes off of PostScripts upcoming unreleased album. The music video features dancer Julia Charkales, choreographed by Nikole LaChioma and directed by Charlie Anderson.
Earlier this year, Royal Trux released their comeback album White Stuff (Fat Possum) to universal acclaim. To follow it up, they have enlisted longtime friend and kindred spirit Ariel Pink to re-work five songs from White Stuff. Folk-rock singer-songwriter Ashley Sofia spent her 20s traveling, observing the world around her and noting the similarities in the struggles and victories we all experience.
