Spritzer unveils breezy new single “Plague” | “Not Allowed’ out this Friday

The track premiered via Impose Magazine who noted, “The breezy track follows Meade’s Sufjan-style delivery as a consistent, churning guitar sets up the whirring synths ala Future Islands.”

‘Honey, I’ is her mesmerising debut single that encapsulates the tone of her songwriting beautifully. Simply crafted and effortlessly intimate ‘Honey, I’ exists in a dreamlike world – the world inside the head of Wes Reeve.

All of Wes’s songs are written through a stream of consciousness and draw heavily from childhood memories and classic fairytale narratives. Her whole aesthetic is based deeply in make-believe and otherworldly experience. She illustrates her own artwork and directs and produces her own videos with a comforting home-made feel.

“Most of us end up in the penitentiary and the rest of us end up in a graveyard. I was the one cat that made it through and I seen so much that it made me numb, but it also made me want to spread what I saw so that I can help people overcome what they was going through. The TM series represents adversity and represents the struggle, overcoming obstacles… If you look at it, it’s sturdy steps of evolution, like watching somebody grow bigger and wiser and better.” (BILLBOARD, July 26, 2019)
