Tramar Lacel Dillard, famous by his stage name Flo Rida, is an American rapper, songwriter and singer. Starting from his debut single ‘Low’ over the years, he has spawned several hit and chartbusting singles and albums that made him one of the best-selling music artists. Developing a keen interest in music from an early age, he joined an amateur rap group ‘GroundHoggz’. His exposure to music furthered through his association with his brother-in-law, who was a hype man of ‘2 Live Crew’, a local rap group.
Initially, striving to get a foothold in the music industry, he signed with ‘Poe Boy Entertainment’. His debut single ‘Low’ released by ‘Atlantic Records’ turned out to be his real breakthrough topping several national and international charts including US Billboard Hot 100, breaking digital download sales record and earning several platinum certifications. The song featured in his first studio album ‘Mail on Sunday’ as also in soundtrack to the flick ‘Step Up 2: The Streets’. Moving forward he generated several hit singles like ‘Wild Ones’, ‘Right Round’ and ‘Whistle’ and albums like ‘Wild Ones’ and ‘R.O.O.T.S’.
