Award-winning singer-songwriter Ciaran Lavery releases new single, “Full Love”
In anticipation of his next full-length release, Ciaran Lavery is releasing a Double A-side single, comprised of the new songs, “Full Love” and “Selene.” The first of the new tunes, “Full Love,” is out now. “‘Full Love’ is an expression, and at times, a demand for, the purest form of love – of a love that’s filled to the brim. People often hurt or gripe over the imbalances in love: ‘I loved them too much’ / ‘They didn’t love me enough’ etc.,” Lavery explains. “Rarely do we ask for love outright – but the expectation still exists within, all wrapped up in our own feelings of hopefulness and simultaneously, self-respect.” Stylistically, both “Full Love” & “Selene” were written on the piano, an instrument Lavery was drawn toward because of its tragic melodramatic sounding nature.

What do Gwen Stefani, Andra Day and the feature film, Echo In The Canyon, have in common? Upon first examination, possibly nothing. But that’s where you’d be wrong. Enter The Dirty Diamond, LA’s premier Rock n’ Roll band, comprised of talented musicians–Sam Babayan (lead vocals, guitar, slide guitar), Fernando Perdomo (Electric Guitars), Derek Frank (bass, effects) and Shay Godwin (drums, backing vocals)–who’s individual careers have been comprised of touring with Stefani, accompanying Day and playing throughout the aforementioned feature film.
Today, Brooklyn-based band Grim Streaker share their new single “Cat Call” the forth and final single off their forthcoming release, No Vision, out next week. The 405 premiered the new single, praising, “‘Cat Call’ features Grim Streaker at a more leisured pace, but the song is no less cacophonous or fire-fueled. But rather than letting a breakneck pace dictate the song’s energy, ‘Cat Call’ relies upon the venom stored up behind the lyrics.” Grim Streaker will be celebrating the release of their debut full-length with a headlining set at Alphaville (presented by AdHoc) on Thursday, May 16th along with Big Bliss, Cold Fronts & FLEXI (purchase tickets here). The record, No Vision, is due out May 17th via Local Fun Boy.
With this track, the group continues to captivate the audience, opening with glistening pianos and a head-bopping slap. Zoe Modiga then unleashes her sky-rattling voice, alternating between near-rapping and time-stopping, levitating multi-octave solos. The powerful sound that is Seba Kaapstad is one that can only derive from such a diverse group of artists.
Psych Rockers 3ft Share New Album “21st Century Drone”
3ft is a five piece psych rock fit from Detroit. It took them a while to become the solid band they are today. And today the band is sharing their new album 21st Century Drone. The album was mixed and mastered by Jim Diamond of Ghetto Recorders fame (White Stripes, Dirtbombs, The Sonics). Influences by the likes of Spaceman 3, Lee Hazlewood, Modern Lovers, and the Velvet Underground, 3ft sounds classic and familiar, yet entirely new.
The label is equally thrilled to announce that the Mustard and Migos collab, “Pure Water,” has officially reached platinum status, according to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Since its release in mid-January, that single has been steadily climbing up the Billboard Hot 100 chart and is currently perched at #23.

Listen to Elluna’s out of this world single, “Lucky Me”
Everything is not always what it seems and Elluna’s “Lucky Me” has landed on Earth here today to remind us that. Originally inspired by and written about a blooming love, the lyrical direction for “Lucky Me” took a terrestrial turn after the man Elluna was falling for showed his true colors and they were nothing short of lackluster. So, “Lucky Me” is Elluna’s way of reminding herself, and listeners, that sometimes we’re blind when it comes to love, wanting so badly for it to work out that we willingly ignore red flags.
