Japanese metal band BABYMETAL have released their first song of the year with “Elevator Girl” via Cooking Vinyl. The track comes on the heels of the news that the band will be releasing a new album this year, their first since 2016’s break out METAL RESISTANCE. The single is the first piece of music since METAL RESISTANCE EPISODE VII, the episode that sparked a new era of BABYMETAL where the FOX GOD sent the band on a darker path, which manifests in the darker tone of the new material as heard on “Elevator Girl.”

Chase Atlantic have debuted, “HER,” the first single from their upcoming sophomore album. In their own words, “‘I Want You’ initially came from the same sessions as “Wanta Be”. The chords went down pretty quickly but we had to be patient with the vocal which felt like a struggle, to begin with. It wasn’t until we were going through ideas on a surf trip in France that the concept for the song really came through. We got the main idea down on a voice memo and when we arrived home the rest of the song just fell into place.
