KEZAR RELEASES “FEELINGS”

Indie pop band Kezar has released their groove-laden third single “Feelings” out everywhere today. “Feelings” was the first song penned for the project. It will always be a milestone for frontman Jack Mosbacher’s life who said “in a few days, we found a new sound, a new attitude and a new chapter in our lives. It’s a song about a woman who is totally in control, from a man’s perspective – she is confident and fearless. As my mother’s son and sister’s brother, I hope that the song is entertaining and fun but also an anthem for empowerment and the unmatchable strength of women.”

Feeling attuned with the disenfranchised state of the world, Sandé’s vision for Real Life was to give people hope and confidence. “Especially people who have been marginalized, forgotten or kicked down by this invisible oppression that’s always there,” she elaborates. “I just want to give people this incredible superpower every time they play the album. FW: for Skope: Nicky Romero and W&W collide on ‘Ups & Downs’ (out now on Protocol)

Ted Kennedy – ‘Not Enough’

‘Not Enough’, like a lot of music I have been writing recently, is inspired by the sounds of Toronto’s underground electronic music scene. Curating Frequencies, I’m constantly blown away by the amount of talent here. It’s tough to be an artist in this city, rents are high, venues are closing, and platforms big enough to give artists any meaningful exposure are nearly non-existent. Everyone has day jobs, roommates, and bedroom studios. Despite the challenges artists put in the work and create great things. This song is inspired by those artists, their sounds, their creativity, their energy. I just hope I did them justice.

The Hugs Drop New LP “I Love You To Death”

If Brit-pop and the Pacific Northwest made sweet, dirty love, you’d get The Hugs. Their angst-ridden, get-up-and-dance sound is cut with a dose of nostalgic indie and garage rock that only comes as a product of slightly off-centered creative types and too many consecutive days of rain.

Rap Prodigy Suigeneris Sips Milk in the Club in “Dancin”

Combining his preternatural skill with melody with slick lyricism and an impish sense of humor, Suigeneris is one of rap’s most talented teenagers. The Bay Area native shows all sides of his talent and personality in “Dancin,” his new music video. Ignoring legal age limits, Suie enjoys VIP status in a gentlemen’s club. He’s too young to drink too, but that’s no obstacle for the young EMPIRE-signee. Instead of bottle-service, he gets carton-service, as scantily-clad models bring him Horizon Farms milk and chocolate chip cookies. The situation seems like it’s too good to be true, and it is–the video ends with Suie waking up from a dream, without models, milk, or cookies, but with stacks of cash. The follow-up to the demonic video for “Selfish,” “Dancin” is the latest video from Suinami, the young rapper’s second mixtape, which dropped in March.
