Kenny Chesney Wraps Rehearsals for “Songs for the Saints 2019 Tour”

Kenny Chesney, the eight-time Country Music Association and Academy of Country Music Entertainer of the Year, wrapped rehearsals for his Songs for the Saints 2019 Tour – and watched as the breakdown and loadout began. Having once again played to well over a million people in 2018 – topping the million mark in Boston alone after his 18th show at Foxborough’s storied Gillette Stadium – the East Tennessee songwriter/superstar made the decision to take the music to the fans living in markets where stadium shows are not always an option.

“Growing up outside of Knoxville, I remember the tours that didn’t come near us,” Chesney says. “You’d hear about them, read about them – and even dream about them. But if it wasn’t playing the Knoxville Civic, well, it wasn’t something we could get to.”

Oakland psych r&b band Bells Atlas share stunning “The Khamsa”

Bells Atlas’ latest offering ‘The Mystic’ digs further into their soulful buoyancy to explore both sound and storytelling. Sandra Lawson-Ndu, Douglas Stuart, Geneva Harrison, and Derek Barber stumbled upon a new process for songwriting– of which included sampling grainy phone recordings of the band’s drummer — that elevates Bells Atlas’ already unique approach to psychedelic R&B. The spontaneity of The Mystic’s creative process results in a raw, cosmic sound that is mirrored in its lyrics. The record is a sci-fi fantasy of two first-generation Nigerian American women coming to terms with a mental health diagnosis, and at the same time, a very universal exploration of how we make sense of reality.

THE GREETING COMMITTEE RELEASE VIDEO FOR NEW SINGLE “IS THIS IT?”

A Wake In Providence Release Debut Full Length Album

East Coast based death metal act A Wake In Providence have released their first full length record ‘The Blvck Sun || The Blood Moon’ releasing on all platforms via Outerloop Records/Cooking Vinyl.

The record is an example of close to two years of work and fine tuning, and it shines through on the entire product. The entire album is a heavy, pummeling powerhouse of a deathcore record- a piece that can truly throw around its weight with any of its contemporaries. The record has guest features from genre heavy weights CJ McMahon (Thy Art Is Murder) and Mark Poida (Aversions Crown), further cementing the work’s place in the industry. A Wake In Providence have created a bitter, twisted and mean body of work that demands your attention, and ‘The Blvck Sun || The Blood Moon” is their most stunning example of that.
