Scotty McCreery Celebrates Chart-Topping Success of “This is It” off Seasons Change Album

Last night Triple Tigers recording artist Scotty McCreery celebrated his chart topping single, “This Is It,” in Nashville with friends, family, colleagues and media in attendance at an industry celebration hosted by ASCAP and BMI. “This Is It” is McCreery’s second ever No. 1 and second consecutive No. 1 hit off his Seasons Change album. He was joined by fellow song co-writers (and two of the three album co-producers) Frank Rogers and Aaron Eshuis at the event where the North Carolina native received a plaque to signify the song’s two weeks at No. 1 as well as RIAA Gold Certification.

“If you had told me a couple years ago we’d be here, I’d have told you, you were crazy. It has been an incredible feeling and an incredible ride,” shared McCreery who went on to thank wife Gabi who served as the inspiration for the hit song.

Darkly Comic New Music Video from Singer-Songwriter Bobby Long

The video for the album’s first single, “Nautical,” is a darkly entertaining, cinematic clip that is inspired by such films as The Collector and Misery. Shot on location in rural New Jersey by filmmaker Arthur Douglass (The Underwater Realm, The Real Life First Person Shooter Series), the “Nautical” video unspools like a blackly comic nightmare, with Long as a jaunty psychopath who decides to kidnap and imprison a musical collaborator played by Dawson, culminating in a “concert” for mannequins and barnyard animals.

Ghostfeeder – Electronic Synthwave // Distorted New Single

A guitarist long inspired by technical studio masterminds like IAMX and Nine Inch Nails, Walborn was initially mystified by the level of knowledge and expertise needed to craft electronic music. It wasn’t until he picked up a gig playing guitar for an electro artist in Los Angeles that he discovered that a minimal, DIY approach to the material could yield big results, thus eliminating his fear and uncertainty about diving into the genre. “I realized I had what I needed already, being that I had Garageband on my Macbook, and within a few months I had my first album done. It was a really liberating experience and required me to totally rethink my idea of being a musician. I haven’t looked back since.” Nostalgia plays a big role throughout Ghostfeeder’s music. Having been immersed in video games in his youth, Walborn actually utilizes the same hardware and sounds to evoke a time in his life when the world was bigger and more infinite, but somehow simpler and more quaint. “I even use Game Boys, N64, Sega Saturn, and Super Nintendo controllers alongside more typical gear when I perform live. It’s fun for me to show my roots and everyone wants to know how I’m doing it. Some people even ask me if they’re really making the sounds that they’re hearing. Yes, they are!” says the musician.

Elsa Y Elmar named Billboard’s “Latin Artist On The Rise”
