GORKY Announce New Album | ‘Mathemagician’ Coming This Spring

2019 promises to be the biggest year yet for Show Low, Arizona-based indie rockers Gorky. Following last year’s duel releases of The Gork…And How To Get It! and More Electric Music, the band are back with Mathemagician, their third full-length studio album, to be released this spring alongside a book written by the band’s leader: actor, writer, and multi-instrumentalist Jesse Valencia, who last year signed a deal with UK-based publisher Jawbone Press to release Keep Music Evil: The Brian Jonestown Massacre Story, a nonfiction book about the controversial psychedelic rock band first made famous by Ondi Timoner’s 2004 documentary ‘Dig!’ The film features another band, The Dandy Warhols, who are likewise a significant part of the book’s narrative.
