OUT TODAY: Lou Doillon’s highly anticipated album Soliloquy + video for It’s You (feat. Cat Power)

The track has received rave reviews from the likes of UPROXX, who proclaims, “The reigning queens of haunting love songs, Doillon and Cat Power’s voices are a match in ghostly, melancholy heaven. Their gorgeous harmonies shine over a minimalist acoustic melody, with the two singers’ voices interlocking in complex ways, alternately echoing and singing,” while Stereogum furthers, “The track is an acoustic duet featuring both of their voices swirling around each other.”

OUT TODAY: 16-yr-old retro pop songwriter Gabriella Rose’s stunning debut ‘Lost In Translation’ EP for Skope!

Based in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, Gabriella is wise well beyond her years. The EP’s title track “Lost in Translation” is a whimsical, reverb-laden ode inspired by the feature film of the same name, and sees the prodigious songwriter grapple with her own relation to and apart from her peers. It twinkles with both youthful urgency and the trauma of coming of age. Another stand-out is “Welcome to the Dollhouse”, which explores her own personal mental health journey, weaving in and out of sorrow, vulnerability and an inability to understand those feelings. Further proof can be heard in the haunting, gospel-inflected sounds of “The Chair” or the more alt-country leaning vibe of “Angel.”
