Solemn Vision releases new single!

Solemn Vision encompass all that metalheads around the globe love: speed, power, heaviness, and musicality. The New York quintet’s sound is for fans of Opeth, Daath, At The Gates and Insomnium. Previously known as Spectral Voices, the band members are not shy of bringing in their influences to the composition, resulting in Scandinavian style melodies and verses going hand in hand with middle eastern rhythms and death metal riffs, with plenty of technicality on the instruments. The result is a unique, hard, melodic death metal that gained large amounts of fans in the tri-state area in the last 4 years.

The Wild State – Debut Single ‘Air Runs’ Out, Produced By Peter Katis (The National, Interpol, Kurt Vile)

The Wild State are an enigmatic new band from Brighton, UK. Following their time studying songwriting together at BIMM, they began to create their ethereal debut album, which occupies a place between The National and Bon Iver. From the strength of their initial demos, the band signed a publishing deal with IAMSOUND Music and have now returned from recording their forthcoming debut LP ‘Light Along The Waves’ in Connecticut, with legendary producer Peter Katis (The National, Interpol, Kurt Vile). The first single from this unique and beautiful offering, ‘Air Runs Out’, will be released on 1st February via US label Beverly Martel and is streaming now following a premiere with The Line of Best Fit – listen via the link below.

The upcoming album is the first LP composed entirely by McIlwee. “It’s so much easier to write more impactful songs when you’re doing it from scratch,” McIlwee explains. “You create the journey for listeners as opposed to getting a map from a producer and trying to fit what you’re saying onto it. It’s all coming from me.”
