CIVL Releases Brand New Single “On Some” feat. Kristenic0le

Michael Kepko, set out to kick the year off with a bang. In late 2018, former vocalist, Kepko, transitioned his full band, Civil Youth, to a become a pop solo artist, named CIVL. Today, CIVL has released, “On Some” (written by Kepko and Evan Seeberger), featuring Kristenic0le. The mood and lyrical content is a lot different from the typical Civil Youth sound, but offers an organic approach to a new style of music for Kepko. Heavily influences from artists like Blackbear and Zayn, CIVL is utilizing this genre to establish a unique and smooth transition of pop, rock, and alternative.

THETAN: Decibel Magazine Premieres “Null And Void” By Nashville Powerviolence Duo

Decibel Magazine is now streaming “Null And Void,” the new single by Nashville, Tennessee-based hardcore/powerviolence duo THETAN. The band ends a four-year release hiatus with their second full-length, Abysmal, which will be issued February 1st via Anti-Corporate Music.

UNIDAD TRAUMA: Mexico-Based Grindcore Unit Thanatology Calls It Quits

Mexico-based grindcore merchants Thanatology recently changed their name to UNIDAD TRAUMA and have posted a brand new track, “El Crudo Acto del Teatro Mudo,” under their new moniker. Writes the band in an official statement:
