FlowerLeaf are getting ready to release their debut album “Stronger”
FlowerLeaf are getting ready to release their debut album “Stronger”, a title that exemplifies what these songs are about: strong and powerful, with captivating riffs and solos. Vivs’ voice brings a mixture of softness and brightness and it goes along very well with the two guest singers Mylena Monaco (Sinaya) and Marina La Torraca (Exit Eden, Phantom Elite), who bring experience and weight to the album.
The world we live in is desperate for something good to happen. For a solution to any kind of problem. And people forget that they are not perfect. And they forget to love and appreciate things that are truly
important. They forget that we are allowed to be ourselves, to dream high and reach for our goals. This is the message of “Stronger”.
Yaeji debuts video for “One More”
Of the video, Gvojic explains, “For the music video ‘One More’ I wanted to create a speculative reality in which our daily loops of banal existence become a prison for our creative expression and forward progression. Too often people are trapped by their self-imposed ritual routines, and do not have the agency to break free and take control of their own destiny.”

Miya Folick premieres video for new version of “Thingamajig”
Of the new version Folick says, “We wanted to make a version of “Thingamajig” that distilled it down to its core—the melody, the lyrics, the interplay between the harmonics and the voice, the apology. I’ve been feeling lately that there’s been a flurry of apologies in the news but rarely is there a true apology. We wanted to make a version of this song that felt quiet and patient, that took the time to express the gravity of sorry. Dennis Hamm played piano on the album version of the song, but we had never rehearsed this live version. We just showed up on set and played together. I think that’s the beautiful thing about music. It’s just people in a room reacting to each other with their instruments.”
“I wanted ‘Between You & Me’ to come first because it felt so reminiscent of my early singer-songwriter days. When I listen to it, I imagine that 15-year-old me would love this song,” Betty says of her decision to make this song the debut single. “Especially since it’s about not being able to put into words how you feel when you’re around the person you’re singing to. It’s not a confession of love, it’s a voice in your head narrating your time with them.”
