Janelle Monáe Is Playing Music Tastes Good Day 2, Sunday, September 30
Music Tastes Good has announced the mega-addition of Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter and performer Janelle Monáe as main support on the lineup for day 2, on Sunday, September 30. Known for her groundbreaking sound and daring style, Monáe joins previously announced acts New Order, James Blake, Broken Social Scene, The Black Angels, Joey Bada$$, Santigold, Princess Nokia, Lizzo, Parquet Courts, Sun Kil Moon, The Church and many more, for the massive two-day celebration of all things music, art and of course… food!
Making its return to the festival is an expanded and more inclusive Taste Tent with the theme “Port Cities of the West Coast,” which offers all attendees (not just VIP’s) a chance to immerse their taste buds in culinary samplings from some of the best coast’s most talented and acclaimed chefs and restaurants.

On September 7th, Armageddon Label will unleash To The Night Unknown, the anticipated new full-length from Boston-based doom/sludge unit MORNE. I recorded it with Chris Bond (Ben Howard) my long-term collaborator in Devon. It carries on what we’ve built so far, a mixture between folk indie pop! Influenced by The Shins & War on Drugs.
